Ravel Glow in The Dark Easy Fasten Children's Watch with Action Secure Strap

Very good night glow, nice and clear dial, easy for a 7 year old boy to read. Strap length probably more suited to a 9 or 10 year old, but I swapped it with a strap that originally came with a kid's Cannibal watch and it was just right. The Cannibal watch stopped working within 5 days of use. The Ravel has worked fine for a month or more and feels much more durable.

I rated this watch 5 star as it meet all my expectation. I chose it from several other after reading a lot of reviews and though for this watch somebody wrote that glow in the dark did not work for him/her, I finally decided for this watch because of: #1-the price (it is cheap enough for a child to have it even if it will last a year or so), #2- overall design (bright, very visible clear numbers, and 12 of them not 6 or 8 as on some watches, strap is Velcro). An excellent present for my 8 year old son who is madly in games of solders, glow in the dark feature is excellent, and a strap is super - it is quite narrow and not too long, this really a boy's watch not adults, really suitable for a tiny wrist. Highly recommend if you need a watch for a boy who likes solder theme and needs to learn time. PS after some time (but less than a year) I found this watch with a badly cracked glass (though still working perfectly!)and the glass still keeps in its place, now I got for that boy a pocket watch on chain.

Lovely little watch for kids to learn to tell the time, but not a baby-ish design, I bought two for my boy and girl. Alas one had a dying battery so was returned. It's a shame they don't pack them with the bezel out which stops them ticking as they are obviously running from the day they are made. Hence I removed a star. I'm still ordering a replacement though. Sturdy body, nice easy velcro strap for small hands to put on and adjusts to little wrists. Dont expect a box, they are cheap watches so literally come in a plastic bag! Not a problem to me, keeps the price down.

My son loves this watch, fits well and looks great, good value for money!

Please ignore my first review. Appeared not to be working when it arrived so I was going to return it, then realised I first had to remove the plastic shield from the winder. Now set to correct time and working nicely as intended. A great little watch perfect for school and the velcro strap is really useful for my son who struggles with buckles.

I bought this for my 6-year-old son to wear to Beaver Camp, as it glows in the dark and has an easy-fastening Velcro strap. He is still learning to tell the time and this watch has big clear numbers and all 3 hands, as well as 10 minute intervals marked out on the bezel. However, the strap was too big for his wrist and there was a limit to how far it could be tightened before you ran out of Velcro. He loved it at first, especially the glow in the dark effect which is very bright, but soon became annoyed by the ill-fitting strap and now he won't wear it at all.

These are the best for young children. Gone through a few watches now and either the clasp or strap breaks. These watch keeps knocking about. I can't believe that my son can still wear it after month. Really great watch!

Great watch for my son. He needed a watch for school wear and the stipulation was that it had to be plain. This watch is the perfect size for an 8 Years old and with the velcro strap it makes it fully adjustable and easy to take on and off. The glow in the dark face is great fun. The face is small but the time print is nice and clear. The seconds marked on the outside are practical and also give the watch a great look. One happy son.
