Calpol Vapour Plug and Nightlight

I brought this in the hopes it would help my little girl she has a possable compramised immune system so gets sock alot and when she doea it goea stright to her cheat due to weak lungs and she struggles to breath. She currently has just gotten sick and we tried this for the first time last night and omg the difference she slept well and managed to breath without me putting the vapour rub all on her chest and feet and with out me having to put a bowl of hot water and vapour drops ear her bed normally she is crying theough out the night and i genrally emd up in her bed with jer so she can sit up and be able to breath easier but last night i actually got to sleep in my own bed. It also helped my oldest child who has been struggling with sleep for a few weeks. I would definatly recommend this product. Smells absolutly lovely and even helped me in a different room. I wouldnt say it actually lasts 8 hours as by 5am i could no longer smell it and as the night wears on u jave to be close amd closer to it to smell it but i jave it in the only plus avalable right nexts to my daughters bed so she gets the best use from it. My sister was worrid about it getting to hot but it didnt even get past warm.

Sometime in every child’s life they get ill and it causes an unsettled period of time not just for the child but also the parents too. Well my son and I have had the usual winter cold and it has seemed to hit hard this year. When I got asked to review this fabulous product I had my doubts like probably many people do when trying new products. I didn’t know if it would actually help or it was just another gimmicky product bought out. On receiving it I thought it was adequately packaged for the size of the product and came with good amount of replacement refills unlike many other products I have seen on the market. It was presented in Calpols usual baby colours and came complete with vapour and nightlight plugin and 5 refill pads. I went straight to use it that same evening. I plugged in the nightlight and added refill pad to the plugin. At first it was bit overwhelming to use and gave off a strong menthol and chamomile scent. Yet after just half an hour the scent faded to a bearable level to place by a child’s bed. It stated the plugin would last 8 hours before the pad needed replacing and it certainly lived up to that statement. Calpol stated it will help soothe and calm a child to aid a better sleep. Well for first time in 2 weeks my son slept all night without sounding all bunged up and congested. I too also slept well a whole night no tickly cough keeping me up half the night. Thank-you Calpol for the great sleep. I loved the nightlight as it wasn’t too bright yet great to offer a child comfort should they wake up in night. It wasn’t like many night lights either too bright and disturbing the childs sleep or too dark and offering no comfort at all. PROS AND CONS: This product does have so many great points yet the only negative I would have is the cost of it. The initial cost is around £5 ok not bad at all. That includes the 5 refill pads which is 5 days of use and the nightlight plugin. Yet to get replacement refills you will pay on average of £5 for 5 refills. This is technically meaning you will be paying a pound a day to run this vapour plugin. I felt for the size of the refills and the amount they have to be replaced the cost was bit steep. I would happily have paid £3 for 5 refills but that is a personal opinion. MY OVERALL THOUGHTS: Overall I will be carrying on using this product whenever my son or I have a cough or cold. It does exactly what it states it will do and offers a soothing yet restful night for all. I got this product for free in exchange for my honest and open opinion

Received my free Calpol plug in from Calpol and it couldn't have come at a better time!! My son was suffering from a dreadful cold was so bunged up but also streaming from his nose bless him. Was very worried as he was due to have an operation the following week to have his tonsils and adenoids out and they won't do surgery unless they're free from infection. Well this little beauty worked an absolute treat!! It comes with 5 extra refill pads that last up to 8 hours. Perfect! You simply put the refill into the vapour plug and within minutes the plug in gives off a really refreshing menthol, lavender and eucalyptus smell which really helped my son to breathe a little more easy at night. He has many different problems with sleep so ot didn't quite solve him sleeping but it certainly helped him breathe a little easier. The vapour plug also has a handy nightlight which only cones on when the room is dark. Is was quite bright but my son really loved this and comforted him as is a nice blue light. Would definitely recommend to anyone with a snotty bunged up child and it even helped clear my airways too. Will definitely buy more refills when needed.

Great item. Works really well. Helps my little one sleep better when she's struggling with teething. Each pack has 5 refills and each refill lasts 8 hrs but it doesn't need to be used at the same time. If it's helping with teething or trying to stop an illness before it develops I put it on once they fall asleep for about 2hrs that way each one can work for 4 days making it much better value. If they were I'll then obviously I would extend how long it's on for. Much better than constantly dosing them up with actual calpol especially for teething and helps sleeping that is really important especially when I'll. Only issue is the refills don't seem any cheaper than just rebuying it. In fact i have found it cheaper re buying this when I need to as goes in the sale a fair bit. It probably doesn't work for everyone but would say it's definitely worth a try.

Really nice scent, doesn't last long. Not sure whether it helps with breathing but it's worth it for the scent alone 😁

Fantastic product. Helps our daughters to have a good nights sleep when full of cold. Would recommend to anyone. Yes it comes with a UK plug and no EU adaptor but it is a UK product and comes from a UK seller so this was expected.

Do not buy this product if you live in the USA or where ever you are. It does not specify the plugin the outlet in the description. If there's anything that has no refund nor return. DO NOT BUY. BECAREFUL.

Il prodotto sembra funzionare bene, mio figlio ha avuto rapidi benefici. Prima di acquistare bisogna però tenere in considerazione un paio di aspetti: 1) è un prodotto inglese quindi viene fornito con spina inglese. Chi non possiede apposito adattatore dovrà comprarlo a parte oppure non potrà utilizzare il prodotto. 2) il dispositivo è dotato di luce notturna blu, NON disattivabile. Se è una funzione desiderata tutto OK, in caso contrario può essere piuttosto fastidiosa e bisogna attrezzarsi con nastro isolante o altro per mantenere la stanza buia.
