Color Wheel Cox 3389 Creative

Light but sturdy plastic or PVC (not sure) colour wheel, easy to handle and serves its purpose. Good quality colours help deciding on colour schemes, which colours combine well and all colour-related projects in general. I use my Color wheel a lot and, after receiving the first one some time ago, decided to get a second spare one just in case. A must have for artists and other creative people. Arrived on time, excellent service.

This is a very well-made product that offers clear information on colour schemes and combinations. It is large and easy to use. I was also delighted to see that it was shipped in a reinforced envelope which meant it arrived in perfect condition, unlike a similar product I purchased from another supplier which had to go in the bin. Recommended.

I wanted something to help me select yarn colours for crochet. All the explanation you need to use the wheel is on it, with definitions. Tints, with white, on oneside; shades, with black on the other. There are enough variations for it to be really useful. The only thing I wish it also included is Double Complementary or Tetradic, but it is easy enough to work this out for yourself.

I’ve seen Cathy Zielske using this in many of her card making videos and I wasn’t going to get it, but I love it! I’ve been able to pull out a sheet of card, find it on the wheel, find the corresponding colours on the wheel using the arrows and then find the matching colours in my card stash to create really pleasing colour combinations to use on cards. I colour swatched my card so this is the perfect accompaniment. Plus the wheel itself is a good size, it spins well and feels sturdy. In case you can’t tell from the photos, one side has colours mixed with white to give you tints and the back in mixed with black to give you shades and there’s the spinning aspect on both. I’ve had fun with mine, recommended.

Love this, excellent colour wheel that I use almost daily. It has a useful structure that allows the user to clearly see the complimentary, split complimentary and harmonious colours and simple and useful information on colour theory. Double sided to show tint and tone. Feels relatively sturdy. For me, it was definitely worth the money.

This is large enough to be practical but sadly it is made of not very strong paper and arrived creased that took allot of getting back to straight

It's much bigger than I expected, just one thing though it wouldn't fit through my letter box as I thought it was the much smaller type and I had a note from royal mail saying it was left Under My Door Mat. I came home from work, looked under my door mat to see nothing there. Next day my neighbour knocked on my door to tell me it was left against the wall visible for anyone to see. Thankyou to her. Watch out for Royal Mail parcels in the future.

Me está resultando muy útil para decidir colores para mis dibujos de una manera que queden bien entre sí. Al tener doble círculo (delante y atrás) tiene muchos tonos de color. Además muy útil los indicadores de lo que serían colores homogéneos, complementarios... Muy útil.

Mit diesem Farbmischrad bin ich sehr zufrieden. Was man auf dem Foto nicht erkennt: auf der Rückseite gibt es eine zweites Farbmischrad, wo die Farben nach Schwarz hin abgedunkelt werden. Sozusagen das Gegenstück zu diesem in der Mitte pastellfarbigen Rad. So kann man auf sehr komplexe Weise die wichtigsten Kontraste untersuchen und zu interessanten Farbgestaltungen kommen! Auch wenn so ein Farbrad zunächst *simpel* wirkt, kann man auch als Grafiker sehr gut selbst damit arbeiten! Ein kleiner Abzug: die Scheibe hätte aus etwas stabilerer Pappe gefertigt sein können.

très bon outil pour le peintre amateur qui souhaite connaître rapidement la complémentaire d'une couleur. Il suffit de tourner la roue (deux faces, une pour les tons clairs une pour les tons foncés) C'est en anglais mais on comprend vite. Je recommande ce produit
