Should have addiction warning on it! ">_>!
I picked one of these up at a anime con, and I have not been able to stop buying them since! They are like marshmallow dumplings, they are soft and squishy. The outer surface is distinctively sweet whilst the inside is strongly sweet, like juicy grapes with the very slightest, distant hint of bubblegum. If you're not used to Japanese candy then this may across as strange at first, but if you're obsessed with Japanese sweets like me then it taste like any other good quality candy (between this and the hellokitty marshmallows mainly... I'm gonna end up bankrupt from not being able to feed my addiction!) ^o^"

SO tasty and in cute individually packaged bites!
Not what I would call traditional Mochi in both flavour and filling texture but was really delicious nonetheless. Really tasty and the flavour would be perfectly suited for a more western taste not used to traditional mochi. Its kind of like an artificial sweetne taste in a kids processed (almost plastic) sweet (which makes it sound horrid) but actually was so nice! I will be buying loads more in the near future... mainly because my other-half emptied the box before I had a chance to do so myself.

Delicious!
These are so delicious. Each sweet is quite big (about the diameter of a £2 coin) but there are only 12 in each box. For the sake of my diabetes and my purse I can't really afford to buy any more, as much as I'd love to!

Expensive and VERY sweet
These are so insanely sweet. I cannot stress it enough, they're *so* sweet it's like straight up eating sugar. What hits you first is the texture which is very pillowy/squishy, then almost immediately there's this overwhelming sweetness, then finally the grape flavour which is good but really more of an aftertaste than anything. I wasn't personally a fan of the sweetness at all, it was just too much, but if you're a sweet tooth then you'll love them, they're like someone ate a marshmallow and said "that needs more sugar". Hence my 3 stars - I didn't like them but I think down to individual preference they could run anywhere from 1 to 5 on taste so seemed only fair to rate in the middle 😆 They are expensive for what you get though. Can confirm as per the other review they're about the diameter of a £2 coin, maybe a little bit bigger, definitely thicker. They're shaped kinda like a mushroom cap. 12 of them isn't all that much for the money. Maybe make a good treat or gift though.

Taste okay.
Never tried them before, so just bought them now. I like Japan and was curious. They taste nice but not as flavourful as I thought they would be. Still good.

Good if you like artificial grape flavour
These are my favourite brand of mochi. Thick gummy consistency with a sweet grape filling :) They're super good if you like mochi, the texture and taste is not for everyone though.

Hard and no bag and tasted horrible
When I got it it had no bag round the product in the box and the Mochi was hard and didn't tast good I'm unhappy with this but the strawberry Mochi was amazing that I got with it and was super soft and had the bag and tasted amazing so if you want Mochi go for the strawberry

Worst Mochi I've ever head, and NOT suitable for vegetarians
I was expecting some hit and miss with the Mochi so I ordered a variety from Amazon to try out and compare a few brands, this one was the second I tried of the same brand and the review is basically the same... First of all, as a reviewer pointed out on another flavour of these, they do contain beef gelatine and as such are NOT SUITABLE FOR VEGETARIANS and while I'm not a vegetarian myself that deserves more attention for those impacted. The packaging on these is horrible; it's a plastic sealed, plastic try, with individually plastic sealed Mochi which leads to quite a lot of waste. The Mochi itself is quite heavily powder coated, the consistency is not at all what I had expected from Mochi, and they have little to no flavour at all. I would have a difficult time telling the difference between these and the mango flavour of the same brand since they're so tasteless. There are far better options available on Amazon, I advise against going with this one - as I said worst I've ever had, at least so far, I do have another few packs from other brands to try but this is a low bar to reach below.
