Exceptional Espresso Machine Cleaner
Never knew that this stuff existed until I watched an On Line Video for repairing my B2C Coffee Machine. Having had the machine for nearly 20 years, and never really carried out a thorough deep clean, I decided to try this stuff and I was surprised at how effective this cleaner is. The Coffee oils and stains imply washed away without any need for scrubbing or physical effort. Brew Group came out clean as a whistle. Only requiring 1 teaspoon per litre, this 900g tub is going to last a long time and thus great value for money. Highly recommend to keep your Coffee Machine in tip top condition and remove any bad tastes from your coffee.

Good quality
It works perfectly with my Sage coffee machine. As you need a little bit of the time it was very long.

Simple, versatile and effective cleaner
This is an affordable cleaner that has worked well across all the devices I've used it for. No issues with cleaning a bean to cup machine, kettle, portafilter baskets etc. All have come out looking great after a few minutes soaking letting this do its thing. Very easy to use, just be sure to follow the appropriate instructions for your device. A great value compared to the brand name cleaners appliance makers tend to push. Highly recommended.

Effective and good value
This product works OK and is good value considering you only need a small amount each time when back flushing the machine and you get a lot in the container for your money. You can also use it to soak clean other coffee stained components like the brew basket. There are safety warnings on the packet which should be heeded especially if there are children about when you are cleaning the machine, but it is a good product to help maintain your espresso maker.

Simply amazing.
Simply amazing. If you have a decent espresso machine with a 3-way solenoid you need this. I discovered this by chance. Having de-scaled using the Gaggia descaling solution and still getting poor flow through the group head and pressurised filter I learned that regular back flushing and cleaning of the filters is necessary. It is important to note that back flushing is only for machines with a 3-way solenoid [e.g. the Gaggia Classic and some Baby Gaggias]. Do not attempt to back flush machines that do not have a 3-way valve. Why backflush? Because the 3-way valve allows left over coffee to drain "backwards" from the "coffee puck", through the valve and out into the drip tray. This relieves pressure and makes for a drier coffee puck with less dripping. But that fresh espresso dries onto the inside of the screen area and the valve itself and soon becomes old stale espresso. By cleaning on a regular basis you will ensure that your lovely fresh espresso is not tainted by the last shot's, or worse, past years, flavours! Having learned more through watching a few online videos I also discovered that pressurised filters are prone to clogging up due to the fact that the oils settle between the part of the filter with many holes and the single hole beneath. Cafiza is something I wish I'd discovered sooner as it may have helped prevent my filter becoming clogged and it might have lasted longer. However, after a back flush, using a blind filter purchased separately, and replacing the old filter basket with a new one, everything was back to normal and the Gaggia Classic is performing magnificently once again. This stuff is magic in the way it cleans. Only a small amount mixed with warm water in a metal or glass [NOT PLASTIC] jug is needed to clean your portafilter holder, screen filter, filter basket and other peripherals. It works like magic on those tea tainted spoons too and even restored a tainted soy sauce bottle to a sparkling squeaky clean state. Simply amazing.

Une cuillère à café rase dans un filtre aveugle et quelques activation du groupe suffisent à tout nettoyer. Pensez à bien rincer après

The 900g container of Cafiza will last a long time. Using this on a Rancilio Silvia and parts. I purchased the Silvia second hand so I’m cleaning all the parts! I received a very dirty double spout portafilter and Jake from Seattle Coffee Gear suggested I soak this portafilter in Cafiza to get it clean. While the chrome is now stripped off (from taking an OXO bottle brush to it- it was completely caked in espresso like no one had cleaned it before- I have been able to get a lot more caked up espresso out of the inside of the portafilter after soaking in 1/4 teaspoon of cafiza in 4 cups of water for two days. Trying to figure out how to attach an image to this review from my phone. When I was backwashing the machine, it was flushing out some brown water so it definitely cleans!
