Whilst I have not used the item yet, I was expecting an own brand product when it turned out to be a Macrist router which I have used before and found good at the job with a long life, so expectations are high.

It’s a great tool. And it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. But it blunts very quickly when you go through tough mortar. After about 1 hour of continuous use it was extremely worn. because the tip gos blunt first and makes it much harder to use

This item is useless, did not even complete a square meter before it wore out. Being used on 150 year old mortar.

Did the job well, pleased with this and cost

Although this is better than the other more aggressively looking golden diamond bit sold by this company, this hasn't snapped it just went blunt way too soon and is a chor to try and rake out mortar, positives are good at 1st but blunts too quick please make this bit more durable and test it on real world applications like hardened mortar as it really struggled.

Works perfect making the job quick and easy

Only lasts on about 10/15 bricks with a lime pointing, better off with a grinder for cutting out the pointing.
