Q: I’d like to use this ink for painting, alongside Indian Ink, instead of watercolour paint. Has anyone used it for this?

I have only ever used for writing via a fountain pen so cannot really advise you. The Parker black ink used to be a permanent black but now there is no mention of the word "permanent" on the bottle or the cardboard box that it comes in. Regards,

How long is a piece of string?! I use a fountain pen for writing letters to friends only and don't write all that many these days as I do more by email. Anyway, my last bottle lasted about 10 years.

Q: What's the difference between this "Super Quink" ink and the standard "Quink" and is it water based?

I am unaware of Super Quink as I have always used the ordinary variety. Most fountain pen inks are water-based although the permanent variety does contain a chemical to enable it to retain i its property i f exposed the damp More than that I cannot tell you. Suggest you go onto the Parker website for more detail.
