Highly recommend !
Fabulous sticker book, really helped with the potty training. Before we bought this book, my son was scared of using the potty, wearing pants, etc. to the point where he would deliberately not wee. Got this book and it worked instantly :D he loved the interactive element of the story (child chooses correct sticker and places it in correct place on each page). It also helped that Pirate Pete has a baby brother still in nappies, just like my son. So is very useful for parents of two young children where the oldest still wants to be 'the baby' :)The reward chart at the back is very basic so I copied the design and made my own. You get plenty of reward stars to get you started though :)

Amazing book- I couldn't recommend it enough!
I can not praise this book highly enough....So my son is 3 in November- and has just become ready for the whole potty training thing so as he is just like his Mummy and loves a good book I figured I'd get him a fun book to explain the process in a way he would understand. So we sat down together and read this book from cover to cover- sticking stickers where they belonged- we discussed the book together- and we spoke about Pirate Pete and he seemed to enjoy and understand what was expected from him.So the next day.....we began the potty training- we chose out underpants just like Pirate Pete had done, he sat on the potty- and waited and waited- and I was able to refer back to the book- explaining that Pirate Pete had also had to wait a long time.....and it happened.....we got the wee we'd been waiting for!And we were able to use the reward chart in the back of the book, to stick stars on the chart. In my opinion there's not really enough room to stick the stickers for every milestone as theres only 7 blocks for each milestone ie- Putting on underpants, sitting on the potty, asking for the potty.....so what we have done is we're just sticking a sticker in every time he used to potty- and for us its working really well. We're on day 3 and we have used 22 stickers- and I really believe this book has given him the confidence and boost he needed as for him the getting the sticker has been like a little prize for a job well done. Also the book covers the fact that they may not always make it to the potty on time- and it's ok to have an accident and not to be upset- and when he did have an accident- I just said to him- it's ok Pirate Pete had an accident too- and his Mummy and Daddy we're still proud of him as he was doing really well- and it really perked him up.This quite literally may be the best Β£1.99 I have ever spent!!

Good but the same as the board book!
The story is good and my son liked it. He loves stickers and this book was fun for him. It includes star stickers you can use on the reward chart. The reward chart isn't very useful for my son because it says things like "I stayed dry all day" and we're using stickers after every use of the potty. My main criticism is that it's the same story and pictures as the Pirate Pete Potty book. Instead of pressing the button (in the board book), here you put stickers on the page. I bought them to work together but no one really needs both.

Fantastic!
My son LOVED this! The stickers are fantastic and match up with the story well. There is a reward chart in the back for completing various toileting habits i.e. sat on my potty, put my pants on, asked to go on potty. It was really useful to emphasise these things as they had been done! My boy would ask for this book the minute he had used the potty just to stick stickers on the chart! Highly recommend.

Underwhelmed.
I was underwhelmed with this product. I was expecting a book with a little more 'meat' to it, or a tool that could be used to promote and encourage my tot to potty train. Although the story line does a good job on telling a story about potty training, think of it as being bullet points with a couple of stickers thrown in. There is a chart of sorts on the last page good only for the first week. I consider it a short-term tool and not a long-term one like I was hoping to get. I tried to get a view of this book but there is only one image on Amazon (cover page). Bottom-line: it's a quick, simple sticker book true to its price. On a lighter note, my husband and his friend found the poo and wee stickers quite amusing.

Worked for my son. Also had recommended it to other mums at my local groups and worked for them too!
Brilliant sticker book for helping your little one understand how to use the potty. It worked wonders for my son. We would read it and place the stickers in the right ( and wrong) places, over the 4 evenings I had set aside to potty train him- he did it in 3 days! Interactive and visual too, with lots of giggles along the way! Couldn't recommend it more π
