Q: is there a knack to takingnout the ends

It did take some time to work out but essentially you need to lift the end to 90 degrees(right angle) and then it slides out the end.To return it to it's slot do the same but in reverse. Good luck. Gary

To get bit out unscrew the sleeve until loose. Then tip is loose. best wishes.

Q: Can i use the bits with any cordless screwdriver like bosch ixo cordless screwdriver?

No, I can see from the photo that these are small precision bits with a rounded shaft. The ixo takes larger hexagonal shaft bits.
