OMG. Love this paint. Price is high but you definitely get what you pay for. Love the color and as most artists will agree... this brand of watercolor paint flows and blends so smoothly. The transparency turns out exactly how you want it to be and the thickness or texture is what you expect in high quality paints. I was excited to try Daniel Smith. I bought one tube to give it a try because as a struggling artist, it was all I could afford. I was extremely satisfied with the result. Tube is durable. The color or glow of the paint never disappoints.

Daniel Smith makes beautiful colors. And this is absolutely one of them.

Last review update. 2-8-2025 Quinacridone Violet was shipped in a box. The tube was not leaking but it has been somewhat flatten. It had another bar code stuck over the label. I will not order from this seller again. The price is too much to receive damaged tubes of paint. D.S. Quinacridone Gold is pretty, there is more orange/brown in the color than I thought it would be. Looks like the real deal from Daniel Smith. Small tube is a good size to try out. I was lucky that a heavy box was not set on the paper shipping envelope. Wow this is weird I tried to review D.S. Green Gold that I bought at the same time to say what a pretty green color it is. Nice and bright, I really like it. Amazon will not let me leave a separate review for it. So I will try to add it in here. January 2025 I ordered 3 more colors from the seller so will add here. Unfortunately I do not think I will order anymore from this seller. The tubes were in individual plastic bags that hold air, one bag did anyway. The other two bags did not hold enough air. One of the tubes in a flat bag had been pushed on enough (it had dents in it) to make the paint come out of the tube too fast. I did save most of the paint that came rushing out and get it in a half pan with the use of a toothpick. The D.S. colors are beautiful: Cerulean Blue Chromium, Lunar Blue, and Carbazole Violet. Now to find a decent 48 tin palette box to put all my colors in.

Sooo happy to receive these paint tubes individually packaged in a baggie bubble so that it doesn't get squished and all the expensive pigment comes gushing out the first time I open it. Thank you, vendor, for anticipating my needs!!! I had to send some back a few months ago to a different vendor who didn't understand the danger.
