EXACTLY what I needed
I have like 5 alarms (in addition to this watch), and was still somehow sleeping through them (?) It is soooo much harder to sleep through this “shock watch” (the sound could be louder, but not really why I bought It). If you’ve ever used a TENS unit, the “shocks” are very similar to that (minus the stickers and wires). I included a photo of the inside of the watch that shocks / vibrates. If you have issues getting up to standard alarms, I highly Recommend. It’s a bit of an investment (but cheaper than losing your job from oversleeping). I also LOVE the app. (I haven’t had to pay for it or subscribe - if you want the community aspect and challenges there may be a fee, but I’m able to access the alarms and wake up features I need). Last 2 photos are one of my alarms. You can set it to make you scan a QR code (you’ll have to print it out and put it somewhere), do jumping jacks, or do a puzzle on the app. I’ve only used the puzzle, but it has a few different types of puzzles it randomizes (they help wake your brain up a little bit). Next 2 options are preventing you from snoozing, or you have it zap you again when you snooze. Light sleep tries to wake you up during a lighter sleep cycle. Escalating alarm helps with battery life and incremental gets louder or increases the zap ⚡️until you wake up. Smart alarm makes sure you didn’t fall back asleep by checking to see if you’re moving; if you don’t move within 5 minutes the alarm goes off again. All are optional (& free / with the cost of the watch). You can also set the amounts of the volume, zap level, and vibration levels from 0-100%. I usually use between 70-80% (with the escalating alarm). The shock watch also has an option for bad habits (like skin picking/smoking). You can set it to shock, beep, or vibrate if you raise your hand up (near your head). That’s also optional, it works okay (not really what I bought It for) but I’d like to see an option to maybe “train” it to alert you in a certain position or a certain amount of time maybe. Overall, I love It; I am Still employed. I love the purple color, and the shock part definitely works. I did want to point out that my wrists are TINY (~6 inches); the smallest notch is slightly tight, but I usually use the 2nd smallest, so may not work as well if you have child-sized wrists like me lol but all in all 10/5 ⭐️

Changed my Life
I bought this about 3 weeks ago now. I’ve been on the edge of losing my job and missing out on important events. And this watch/shocker has made that go full 180. The watch has three great functions with vibration, beeping, and of course the shock. I first started at 100% shock, beep, and vibration being that I cannot hear or feel anything while I’m asleep. The very next day I woke up instantly and did 10 jumping jacks to turn off the alarm. And the app has great functions! From sensing your body movement to shock you awake again, to making sure you’re in a light sleep at the time you truly need to wake up. I love this thing! When I first bought it I was skeptical of the Bluetooth linking due to some other reviews, but I’ve found that if you leave the app open on your phone it works just fine. And for my own peace of mind, I turn on the sleep tracking function so that way the watch and phone have to consistently communicate with each other. On top of the alarm functions I also wear it throughout the day to track my steps because I feel it’s more accurate then my phones health app. It also has other “healthy habit” functions and I’ve seen customizable functions to sense nail biting of smoking. While using it for all of these purposes I only usually charge it every three days. And because I’m paranoid I don’t let it drop below 20% battery so I know it’s stays charged throughout the night. Overall this is a great watch and alarm. This watch has literally saved my butt and changed my life. I think on a personal note physiologically my body is becoming more in tune with time and I’m starting to wake up prior to the alarms. Thank you so much Pavlok!!!!

Better than old version
I had the original shock clock that had the most terrible app you had to use to program/ set alarms. I'm so glad this new one has a new app that is functional. It does work to wake you up as long as you don't just turn it off or remove it from your wrist. It is easier to wake up with the shot of a adrenaline you get from a zap pulling you out of a deep slumber. I think it uses sleep tracking to wake you up in the lightest phase of sleep closest to your alarm set time. I think that was helpful. I wish it didn't need an app and was under $50. I don't know why we can't just combine a cheap digitial watch with a shock caller for a reasonable price. No apps, just straight 90's tech would be great

The item is good; weakes up which helps to improve sleep patern. I will not use paid verasion of the application which is not needed to controll sleep or even other habbits.

I read some negative reviews on here, so I was preparing myself for disappointment - but it is FANTASTIC for someone like me who finds it impossible to get up. There are a huge number of options, but personally, I have it set to make me do jumping jacks (and no, waving your arm about in bed doesn’t work!) I’ve set mine to vibrate, sound an alarm and then shock, so I have a minute or so if I want to avoid a shock. I have it set at 50% shock and that is plenty. It can’t be turned off either! If it is telling you to do your star jumps/ puzzle etc, you can’t over-ride it on your phone. Sure, you can take it off to stop the electric shocks, but it will still make a noise and vibrate (be careful you don’t set it for the wrong time by mistake!!) There is also an option which means that if it senses that you’ve gone back to bed, it will start again (I think it is about 5 minutes later). The problem with that setting is that if you take it off to have a shower, it thinks you’ve gone back to bed and you have to redo the jumping jacks! It can be set to increase in intensity as time goes on and so that it wakes you up when you’re in a lighter sleep phase. Looking at the negative reviews….: I have an iPhone, so there hasn’t been any software issues, unlike another android user. Yes, the back of the watch obviously needs to make contact with your skin for you to feel the shock/ vibrations, but it just means you have to wear it like a watch, not a bangle. It arrives charged and the battery lasts about 7 days, so I wonder if people who have commented that it “just stopped working after a week” have remembered to charge it?! A big recommendation from me - and I wasn’t expecting it to work - I was just desperate.
