Better than expected, they are very pretty and are the ones that come off the wire like traditional fairy lights,the wire is not copper but clear and very easy to meld in - the battery pack feels stable and sturdy - the remote works well when pointed at the battery back . The modes are there if you need them - we go for just on - that are dimmable and we use this feature quite a lot i bought another one of these -the light is warmish and not cold- they're great basically so far a couple of weeks of use and all is good-have them round the inside of the van were they tuck in nicely and round the other set round awning-bought 2 more for the kids tents . Nothing rivals the light and warmth of filament lighting but these come very close feel reliable use little power are remote controlled dimmable . We like these lights a lot .

Update!: Just received my second set of lights. Had to order a replacement since the battery pack turned out not to be waterproof, and the electrics had rusted, but to be honest they're so reasonable I don't mind having to buy a new set each winter. I'll put the battery pack in a tupperware pot this time, and see if that's more effective. Still beautiful lights though, and it's so great to have the option of a timer.*********************These are really lovely lights. Very reasonable, but they work brilliantly, and are packaged really nicely. They came promptly too. We're yet to have rain, so I'm not sure how waterproof the battery pack will be, but I'll wrap it up in a plastic bag just in case. Will definitely be buying again in the future!

Amazing. Kinda exceeded expectations. The length is really nice not too short. The remote can be a little weak but it overall is good and came with a suitable battery to go with it. The main lights themselves do not come with batteries but I had some from my previous lights so they worked very well. The clip on the battery pack is convenient and makes so it can't break easily. My favourite part is the sequences of the lights. There's 8 to choose from which is a lot. And the dimming option on the remote us good for nighttime. Really happy with product.

I am so glad I bought these!They are exactly as advertised. A set of simple, good quality string lights that you can control with a remote.They have made my living room look so cosy! The light is a beautiful warm white and the remote control function is GENIUS! I used to have to climb up my bookcases to turn my lights on (a bit precarious!) and now I just use my little remote! I love that there are lots of different settings.I might buy another set of these... I just love them!Really happy with this purchase.

used these for my daughters wedding at the weekend. had them round the balcony and as it was a calm evening everyone was out there. The lights were amazing and being battery powered it was really handy with no long leads about. They added great atmosphere to our party and everyone remarked on them. Great value and great effect with only two units. 10 metres is a long way when its wrapped round a column and railing. Totally recommend these lights.

They're fairly lights for outdoors; you put them in a tree or whatever, and they light up. They have a remote control and can be set to do different things - flash, set time etc. Not much to report there.What I will say is that they've coped with some pretty awful weather of late - at least 10 days of heavy sideways rain, and wind strong enough to take my fence down.I did put the battery unit in a plastic bag, but it's not completely watertight, and they've coped fine. Still coming on night after night. Whether they'll last all winter remains to be seen, but I've had lots of these types of lights over the years, and not many would've stood up to the weather we've had to contend with over the last couple of weeks.Anyway, am pleased enough with them that I've just ordered a second set.

The lights themselves are great but the remote is terrible. It will work after repeated pressing and providing you are approximately 1 metre away, but for me, kind of defeats the point of a remote.

I love these lights they are really good for relaxing, kind of romantic in a way and night lights.I recommend putting good quality batteries in such as duracell. Those batteries will last for weeks in these lights.The remote is really handy and responsive.I've wrapped my lights around ivy as seen in the picture and they are hung on my bedroom ceiling.
