Q: Are the painted fabrics washable when dried?

The Jacquard Textile Color range of professional-quality liquid fabric dyes are both colourfast and permanent, leaving textiles as soft as possible, withstanding numerous washes, and is the standard for quality fabric paint. Used on either natural or synthetic fibres, including stretchy type materials Textile Color doesn’t crack, chip or peel, even after repeated wearing and washing. The liquid is semi-transparent but intense and can be applied straight from the bottle. To reduce the viscosity but to add to the transparency simply add (up to 25%) water. Mixing in Jacquard’s Colorless Extender will bring a level of transparency without impacting the consistency. To make a pastel colour simply add white. The beauty of Textile Color is that essentially any colour can be achieved by mixing with other colours from our Lumiere, Neopaque and Dye-Na-Flow ranges. Textile Colour can be used for direct painting, mono or block printing stamping or stencilling, and is suitable for use on synthetic or natural fabrics, canvas, shoes, wood, leather, paper and more.

Q: Would these work on leather?

I use these on silk and cotton. I am faily sure they will work on raw leather, but am a little doubtful that they would adhere well to tanned leather. I would suggest you try it on a piece of scrap, and see what happens. Sorry this isn't more helpful, but good luck.

Q: How long do they last? (Oil paint lasts decades providing it is kept air tight- is this the same?)

I think these are more acrylic based rather than oil based. They will dry out eventually but they are small pots so you will probably use them before they ever dry out.

Q: Hi all,Could I use these fabric paints with a stencil, or are to thin & will bleed under the stencil.

These are the paints so not as thin as the ink , i think to its depend on the fabric and if it has textile medium on it , i tought those where the ink because i needed them but they where for me to thick to use in aorbrush
