Mangrove Jack's Yeast Cider M02 Craft Series Yeast 9g treats 23L : desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: Great yeast, great flavour profile - Just finished a 22ltr cider brew with this yeast. It consisted of 14ltrs of pressed apple juice from my trees and 8ltrs of apple juice from Te$(0. I got a 7.8abv . This is my normal go to yeast and it always gives a great flavour profile to the brew. It gives a good fermentation and settles well in the bucket. I tried a different yeast in an earlier batch which didn't start fermentation so I had to pitch another packet of yeast after two weeks. I have never had that with this yeast. I would recommend it to others to purchase. Review: Good product - Different cider this year from wild yeast!

Works well
I have used this to make apple cider. Obviously it will be some time before I can taste the cider but I can report that it is bubbling away creating a good fermentation

Great flavour
I loved the flavour profile this yeast produced in my "turbo cider", made from shop-bought apple juice. Note however, give it a couple of weeks to condition after bottling. When too fresh it tastes awful!

Cider yeast !
Looks and smells good. I won’t know how well it works for some time yet. But others have had good results. Four stars for now! JC

Perfect
One pack can do 5 demijohns of freshly picked apples to perfect dryness. Really good flavour imparting yeast - fruity and not too yeasty.

Pitched and repitched and couldnt get a ferment out of it to make a review. Yeast may have been DOA.

I've used this cider yeast now to make several batches of hard apple cider and also peach and it does a really fantastic job. I first started using wine yeasts as I also make wines and meads, but was not really too satisfied with the results in that much of the fruit flavor seemed to be stripped at these lower abv brews. I decided to give this yeast a try and I'm really happy with the results. I get a nice, dry cider that retains a lot of the natural fruit flavor with no bitterness or "young" taste, with a really good aroma. The yeast drops really well and forms a nice solid cake if you leave it to clear for awhile, so racking is very easy. I know this brand has some variations and I'm anxious to try a couple more because this one really impressed me with repeated, excellent results.

Really great high-quality yeast. You only need to use a tiny amount (or what-ever is recommended for your set-up). Be sure to note the whole packet can do 6 GALLONS so only tiny amounts are needed for small batches.

I got yeast in good condition. was skeptic since other yeast I bought from other sellers was not good but this came quickly and the yeast bloomed asap. the yeast started fermenting right away. thanks again

worked fine to make alcohol. I had lots of apples and made cider, which I turned into apple cider vinegar. I used Corn Sugar, because I was turning it into vinegar later anyhow. I would typically use brown sugar for good cider. This fermented the apple juice great to about 15% alcohol. I can't attest to the taste, like I said, I used corn sugar, and it was very sweet alcohol. Once I oxidized it into the vinegar, it's an excellent "apple" tasting vinegar.
