The bottles of kefir were well packed on arrival, and transferred to the fridge straight away. The following morning I tasted my first 'proper' kefir - which is quite unlike the supermarket varieties and much better for you - a bit dubiously as I wasn't sure I liked the sound of sour fizzy milk. But it wasn't that sour, and once sweetened with a drop of fruit smoothie the fizziness is actually very pleasant. I'm now making my own kefir with grains supplied by the same company, and look forward to what has become a morning treat!

Delighted exactly as advertised

Finally found what I am looking for! All the shop bought, flavoured kefir drinks may be cheaper but have added sugar and I find it hard to believe they provide the microbial diversity they claim to have. Yes, the ‘tangy’ taste can be off putting, but you grow to enjoy it, especially when you know that it’s so beneficial. I have researched kefir for months now and tried everything on the market (even tried making my own which was a disaster!) and finally, found the real deal.

I love this. It is really good and a fast, efficient delivery service. Probably an acquired taste but superb for maintaining a health gut

This product is not good and very expensive in the shops they are very cheap

I had always avoided milk as I am lactose intolerant, but I researched a lot and found out that the bacteria in kefir digest the lactose so I should be OK drinking it. So I started drinking milk kefir back in August. First of all I started with a supermarket brand and suffered no ill effects, but when I bought this brand I never went back. This is far superior, it is fizzy as it is supposed to be and I enjoy it. It is quite refreshing. I decided to have just 125 ml a day as then a 500 ml bottle would last 4 days, which worked out cheaper. My bowels improved immensely within a few days. However, After a while I suddenly developed a cough and also indigestion. This went on for months, I saw my GP and had various tests, but they were all fine. The cough persisted and it was wearing me down. Then a week ago a friend told me that her friend had a cough for years and found out she was intolerant to dairy and when she stopped having it her cough stopped. It made me think, so I stopped the kefir and low and behold my cough and indigestion have gone, so as well as being lactose intolerant I am obviously dairy intolerant too. So this is a cautionary tale. However, if you are not dairy intolerant, this is a fantastic product and I completely recommend it, the customer service is great and you can buy direct from the company as well as Amazon.

Didn't like this fizzy Kefir. Much prefer other brands which are not fizzy. This morning opened a bottle (thankfully over the sink) and 2/3 of the bottle fizzed out . The company say shake the bottle, but I do not like losing most of the bottleful on opening. Not a good buy.
