Biona Organic White Spelt Spaghetti 500g (Pack of 5)

Can’t say how biona spelt pasta has changed my life. I cannot digest wheat/whole-wheat so I thought I had to bid them adieu. Au contraire! These are even more delicious, less cooking time and my kid loves them too.

Just like normal spaghetti

Apart from cooking errors, this has cooked up well, it’s less starchy than normal, and not quite as soft, but that’s marginal. Our family prefers this to normal spaghetti, it tastes no different, not that pasta has a strong taste anyway, but we like the less sticky/starchy consistency. We’ve had this for a couple of years now and we Won’t go back to “normal” spaghetti.

Spelt spaghetti, just as we wanted and very difficult to obtain at local supermarkets. A good price and speedy delivery.

try not to overcook this pasta. Only a few minutes in boiling hot will water is needed. They taste bad when overcooked but otherwise a fantastic alternative! Will buy more.

We try to follow ''Eat right for your type" diet according to which wheat containing products are to be avoided. So looked into alternatives. Found this spelt spaghetti. We love it. The kids love it. It has lovely taste. And what's more important - no heavy stomach after a meal any more. Would totally recommend it. A bit pricy in comparison to wheat pasta though.

My children prefer this pasta to the usual wheat one! Tastes very good, a healthy alternative to wheat, it doesn't make me feel bloated. I find it boiling for mins is too much, 5 is enough but depends on taste!!
