I tambourine with a band. It's called percussion. The tambourine must be loud enough to be noticeable, yet not intrusive. If it's not jangly enough you'll hurt your hand...or thigh or leg or whatever. Can't be too heavy, as you'll never keep up the incessant beat over a long period of time. This one is just right. And cheap.

Adequate for a tenner, quite loud.

I’m a Supply Teacher and sometimes have classes who are noisy! This tambourine saves me when the regular teacher has hidden or taken whatever instrument of choice! I don’t always need to shake my tambourine sometimes my face, jokes….or me standing there silently makes them realise I’m there to teach. Sorry got carried away this tambo is good for sing alongs, maybe a bit of Kanye West Sunday service! You can get right into it with this! So I recommend it cheap and cheerful!

It's very well made mostly a tough plastic body with a handle and finger grooves it's a 16 symbol half moon and although rythem is required there simple to play and learn with it's excellent im very pleased with quality price and sound i can recommended

Urgently needed a tambourine for a gig. Wasn't expecting greatness at the price but mightily impressed with this.

Instant cool. They look and sound good. The ‘bells’ are a bit thin but don’t let that put you off buying them. I’m very pleased.
