Brilliant! One charging station for all of your USB compatible devices
Like other families our charging needs seem to be increasing exponentially! I don't know about you, but we spend a lot of time juggling iPhones and iPads about in the kitchen where we have a couple of chargers permanently plugged into a double socket. Over the past few months I have been getting fed up of looking for various chargers for different pieces of equipment as our electronic equipment expands. I came across this charger whilst searching for MFi certified lightning leads for my apple equipment. The idea of being able to charge several different devices with the one charger appealed to me straight away. Anker also make a 40W 5 port charger and I was going to go for that, but we have 3 iPhones and 3 iPads as well as other tablets and equipment, so I decided to spend a few pounds more and go for 60W and 6 ports. I know now that I made a wise choice! The charger looks and feels like a quality product and comes with an 18 month guarantee to back up that feeling of quality. Even the packaging is impressive! PowerIQ detects the optimum charge rate for each device as it is connected and sets the output accordingly. It charges quicker than the chargers that come with your phones and tablets. All you do is plug in the charger, connect your equipment and the charger sorts it all out for you. Brilliant! We now have a charging station in the hallway and all of our charging needs are met easily by this one device. I have been asked if this unit makes any noise and I would happily place this on my bedside table with six items on charge. The other thing that appealed to me was the holiday/travel/work situation. You can charge all of your gear up at once from only one socket. So if you get to your hotel room and there is only one socket, or your office only has one free socket, no problem! The charger is very small, only slightly bigger than a cigarette packet, so you can leave all of your other chargers at home and save much needed room in your bags. Anker really seem to want to please, there is a booklet in the packaging asking you to contact them if you are not satisfied and I received an e-mail asking me if I would leave feedback. I get the impression that they care. As you can tell, I love this product. If you are thinking about getting one, do not hesitate. Look at the smaller model if you do not need so many ports. A no hassle, easy to use multi-charger. I think it is a great product at a great price!

I currently own 3 of these
I own three of these now. A reliable, basic, 6 port, usb-a power brick. I particularly like that the power cord is removable/easy to route behind cupboards. I dislike the fact that Anker have invented multiple charging protocols, all called "PowerIQ" and they all do different things - and there is no reliable way to guess which version this has ...Bad show Anker, your product descriptions and customer support used to be 5*. Bottom line: If you want to destroy your phone battery by regularly fast charging it, this is not the toy for you ...If (like me) you just want a basic 2.4A (overnight) charger, or just a way to power all your USB-powered IoT devices, this is a 5* choice

Great for supplying the national grid that is my house
This was a must have for me. I keep it at the side of my bed where it charges my E-cig, lamp, phone, smart watch and power bank. It's a real work horse and never lets me down

Anker quality
Perfect for my needs, USB charging hub for plugging in the multitude of devices powered by USB these days. This charges at a good speed and solid build quality. Can recommend, and a trusted brand name which is important to me.

Great device but no on/off switch
Great device and works well but I needed a hub with a separate on/off switch so I returned it. However, that's a personal matter and if that is not important to future buyers then this is a great USB charger hub

A well thought out and executed bit of kit in a sea of junk!
I essentially bought this product like many others because I have a young, growing family living in an age where everyone has at least 1 portable device required to be recharged regularly. I'm also fed up of seeing most of my electrical sockets half-taken up with a charging plug and subsequent trailling lead so when I saw this as an opportunity to ditch the lot of 'em and create a central charging 'hub' in my home, it didn't take me long to pull the trigger on the purchase! As someone who lives in a very remote part of the UK I rely heavily on Amazon for a great many things that most people would otherwise just 'pop to the local shops' for. As a result my ultimate nemesis is packaging and believe me, with said family I get a lot of it! This is why every once in a while it's refreshing to come across a product which provides you with nothing more than what you actually need. The packaging and design of the box with incorporated instructions is great; It's well thought out, well designed, easy to follow (not that it's a complicated process using the device - it's plug and play!) and provide easy access to the device and associated components within. No excess 'fresh air' or overly complex packaging puzzles to get you well and truly worked up before you've even laid any fingers on the product. Instructions are picture-based flow diagram of sorts which double up as the packaging which I really appreciate and eliminates the need for countless pages of written instructions in a dozen different languages of which being a bloke immediately makes me chuck them to one side and crack on, consequently either ending up in a rage or breaking the product. A picture speaks a thousand words... A lot of people won't really care about this element, but I do and I'm sure there are others out there who love the idea of 'frustration free' packaging as well. Even the customer satisfaction card is well thought out! Onto the product itself... it's small, silent and descreet with a great use of tactile materials to make the user feel like it's a high quality product and not some cheap, nasty, plastic-clad device inspiring a thought process of worrying whether your house will still be standing in the morning. I like the addition of the adhesive rubber mounting strip and velcro strap to literally mount this thing anywhere out of site - perfect under a desk with ideal cable management. I'm impressed with the PowerIQ function giving me peace of mind that whatever device i plug in isn't going to be a potential fire hazard or limit the life of the battery by putting too much 'juice' in too quickly. It also runs nice and cool with mine being left plugged in permanently. Overall as they say, 'you pays your money' and I've had dozens of cheap chargers in the past that have either broken down or given me concerns over fire safety. I'm glad on this occassion I paid a bit more to hopefully buy once and so far I'm happy. We'll see how extensive use works out.

The Item comes with a European plug instead of a UK/UAE plug, for me it makes a difference, I will try to contact the seller to replace the plug otherwise I am returning the item.
