Green Sandalwood Wide-Tooth no Static Handmade Comb, Quality Wooden Curls Comb (Wide-Tooth Comb)

I bought the fine toothed green sandalwood come Equelf make, and loved it so much, I then bought this wide-toothed comb to go with it.. The combs are incredibly beautiful to look at - real pieces of art. The smoothness of the wood, and the lovely grain are a delight. They feel gorgeous to hold, and they are so smooth on the hair. They definitely pull hair out far less than a hairbrush, and the fragrance is out of this world. Never before have I been seen sniffing combs, haha. In all, this comb is, like my previous purchase, a joy both to use and just to handle and look at. I doubt I'll ever use a plastic one again. I now find combing my hair is a really soothing thing to do. I know I'm gushing a bit, but I just love them.

I’ve always used plastic combs, which can sometimes be a bit sharp on the scalp and occasional static. Decided after lockdown to grow my hair a bit longer and thought I’d try this wooden comb with wider teeth to stop the pulling and comb easier through my hair. What a difference! The comb glides through hair so easily, gives a nice textured finish and feels great on my scalp, really smooth with no static. The comb itself is excellent quality, will last for many years and for the price is excellent value for money. I’ve bought another two since for convenience and can’t imagine going back to plastic.

I bought this comb as I am going through chemotherapy and need a wide tooth comb. It is a really good quality wide tooth comb. Gentle on the scalp.

Excellent comb that has lasted, I am posting this review 1 year later and use it daily

This a great comb. I was surprised at how easily it slid through my hair. I have kinky afro hair and this comb was brilliant in the detangle process. There was no pulling and it felt gentle to use on my scalp. I find it a little pricey and the comb itself was a little smaller than what I expected but overall, I think it's a great comb. Comes in a small cardboard box and a hair tie.

Good quality, sturdy brush.

I use this before a boar bristle brush to detangle. Works really well on my fine hair which tangles easily. Very gentle on the hair. Nice size, good comfortable handle, seems like excellent quality.

It fits perfectly in your hand, like a glove! It's so easy to use, it goes through hair with ease in comparison to a plastic comb, it leaves your hair static free, it smells gorgeous and my hair picks up the scent too (it feels like aromatherapy for hair). I have not tried it on wet hair as I have wavy to curly hair and I comb before washing. I was undecided between this comb and the sandalwood/horn comb: I now own both! (Same ergonomic design) I'm equally in love with both! The sandalwood/horn comb goes through the hair even easier that the sandalwood comb and adds a shine to it as it goes through but you loose some volume (easily regained with a light spraying of water) Almost forgot to mention! Both combs are hardly pulling any hair out or breaking it: I was cleaning clumps at a time with my plastic comb with even wider teeth, now it's just a few hair if any! Happy combing!
