Lexar Professional 1066x 32GB CompactFlash Card, Up to 160MB/s Read, CF Card for Professional Photographer, Videographer, Enthusiast (LCF32GCRBEU1066)

These CF cards are great if you need reliable and fast cards for serious photography. Lexar is a reliable brand and 64GB is large enough for RAW files. The price is affordable which meant I was able to purchase two cards. I decided to this as oppose to buying one larger capacity card as I often like to keep different jobs and subject matters on separate cards as I do not format the cards until the images have been transfered to my computer, edited and then backed up. Having multiple cards gives more flexibility in this respect.

Excellent cards, along with the Sandisk Extreme Pro, these are the only other CF cards that can be reliably used for uninterrupted and crash-free , continuous recording of RAW video at 1080p HD resolutions. RAW video via Magic Lantern on the 5D mk II, Mk III and the 50D, require write speeds of up to 70MB/s which only this and the San Disk Extreme Pro can fully handle. The 50D is especially prone to crashing, with anything less than these cards. I have a range of other CF cards, most rated between 100-120MB/s, which have all struggled in achieving continuous HD RAW video recording at 23.976 FPS, without the need to lower the resolution or frame rate, to prevent skipped frames. For regular photography use, they are totally over the top but for professional video, you won't get better, this side of a CFast card.

Used this card for quite a few months since purchase and have found it to be quick and of excellent quality. The ability to trust the storage of images and that problems won't occur leading to corrupt files or missed shots is vital I believe and minimising this problem as best I could meant investing in good quality storage and this product fulfils my needs. Happy with the speed as I tend to shoot in RAW and jpg, not had any issues to date. No hesitation in recommending it.

Everything is great till now, the card's speed is more than enough for HD filming, transfer speed is amazingly fast to computer. The only issue for me is that when I receive it, the package was opened already, and had been applied a second sticker to seal it back, which is not very pleasant to me, hope there isn't problem before I purchase this particular card.

Needed a good quality compact flash card for my camera and chose Lexar as I believe them to be one of the best on the market. This card does what it is supposed to do and has never let me down. If you want a card never buy cheap ones, they will at some point let you down, now saying that any card can fail, but so far I have never had a Lexer card fail on me. I'm reviewing this card from the experience I have had with them and have always been satisfied with them.

Brilliantly fast Compact Flash card which fitted beautifully into my cameras which use Compact Flash. Started using these in preference to my usual Sandisks as they are faster and usually cheaper, so more bang for the buck. Looks reasonably well made with a sticker on it, giving brand information and transfer speeds. The 1066X are the fastest of the CF cards. 32GB is perfectly fine and plenty for use with D700 or D300. It is slightly too small for D800 RAW files as they are huge, but I've bought bigger cards for the D800 so less of an issue.

Good to find a quality compact flash card for this price. It is fast and reliable and a reasonable size. Very happy.

If like me you're using CF cards in your camera, these have to be reliable, Lexar CF Cards have been tested much more than I'll need to. The storage capacity is right for me, I don't want a super-expensive mega card and prefer more smaller ones. Great quality and first class product. For reference it is used in my 50Mp Canon 5Ds and even at 6fps I have no transfer speed issues.

Seems to be exactly as described, large capacity and fast, it will be good to have another good card for shooting wedding on.

Acheté pour mon 5D Mark IV. Cela m'a permis d'avoir la meilleure vitesse (fps) en photo et pas de lag en vidéo comme j'avais avec ma SD Card. RAS au niveau de l'utilisation, tout a fonctionné pendant des mois. Un peu cher...mais j'imagine que c'est le prix de la qualité...
