I was SO excited about this hoodie - it was borderline neurotic. We got it and immediately put it on. Had I known this would transform my dog into a hoodrat, hoodie-wearing, hoodlum, I would have bought it sooner. #ThugLife. We made sure she wore it to daycare to show all the other dogs who was really running this place. All joking aside - we love it. Keeps her warm and it looks freaking adorable. She got a Large as she is a little wider in the shoulder region. As you can see by the chest-hair on her too-low zipper in the second picture, she's only missing a gold chain around her neck to remind you of your creepy uncle who's been single for far too long. She is an unknown-mix-breed that we refer to as "an extra-large Puggle": wide chest, long body, short legs. So it fits pretty well across the chest but is way too long in the legs. We have to cuff the arms so the rest of the Outsiders know that no one messes with PonyBoy. Haven't used the pocket because clean lines are necessary when we're hiding under-age contraband in our cuffed sleeves. We haven't put the leash through the hole in the jacket - I don't think it would fit. Overall great buy and awesome product. All the dogs at daycare were jealous. We're off to new adventures now.

This hoodie is heavy weight, well made, and of higher quality than I expected. The zipper makes it easy to take on and off and the cut-away on the underside ensures that it won't be soiled during a walk. I had a sizing issue and Ellie Dog Wear communicated promptly and courteously; I would make Ellie Dog Wear the first place to look for additional products based on quality and customer service. That said, sizing for this item was tricky. Based on previous reviews, I ordered an XL for my 55 lb. deep-chested pit mix because I didn't want it to be too tight. The XL was huge and hung down several inches to the point where it made walking difficult and it would twist into uncomfortable positions when she was sleeping. I returned it for a L which was SO much smaller (more than I expected for one size difference). The L fit comfortably snug around the chest and will be a great sweatshirt to keep away the winter chill.

This is made of very nice, thick fabric and looks very cute on my dog. I like the little velcro pocket. My dog is a daschund mix, he weighs about 11 pounds, and his measurements are 10" neck, 17" chest, and 14" back. He's basically all skinny and long, except for his barrel chest. I first ordered the hoodie in Small and it was too big for him. I returned it for an Extra Small, which fits him much better. It's a tiny bit short, but he is quite long.

Amazing quality and sized perfectly. I'm so pleased with this purchase I ordered 2 more, another in red for the same dog, and one for our Chihuahua. (I was totally sold just by the chihuahua picture on this item). Honestly, I do feel the price is a bit high -- but the quality is definitely worth it, especially to some other products I've purchased on Amazon, you never reaaally know what type of quality you're going to get. I don't write these reviews very often, but whoever the manufacturer for 'Ellie Dog Wear' is, is absolutely amazing. Maybe one suggestion I could make to improve this however is to make each side of the hood's draw string hang down 2" or so. I love the draw string and frayed knots, just wish they were a bit longer for more visibility, and to add even more style.

I’ve purchased three sizes of this Ellie hoodie zipper jacket. I gave the medium to a smaller dog, kept the large for back up but find the extra large fits my 65 lb dog best. Wearing this hoodie really helps to keep her warm on cold days. The hood is too big on the extra large size so for safety I tuck the hood inside the jacket. The jacket is very easy to put on and the big zipper zips up easily. Zipping it up really keeps my dog cozy and comfy and she clearly loves wearing this jacket, actually begs to put it on sometimes, as she obviously appreciates the extra warmth it affords her. Great quality product and well worth the price.

Bought two hoodies after seeing my friend's dog wear one. One for my pomchi and my boss's golden retriever and I LOVE IT. Quality: it feels so soft and the fabric is durable. I buy a lot of dog clothes, and nothing matches the quality of this one. Style: I love the drawstrings this hoodie comes with. My dog has a small head and I can adjust the hoodie size where it can fit him perfectly. There's also a pocket that comes with it, which is so convienent. I usually put a few doggie poop bags in there when walking him. Lastly, there's a little loop underneath the hoodie that allows you to attach the leash through, which is so nice because I don't have to put his body belt on for a walk.

Piper loves this hoodie!! Ordered in a Medium, which fit well on her shorter legs, and is roomie on her midsection. For reference, Piper is a 17-18 lb shih tzu mix. The quality of this piece is fantastic - the material is soft, with some stretch, and the details are nice! She loved it so much, she actually didn't want me to take it off! Definitely a keeper. Pictures with and without hoodie for sizing reference!

This sweater was amazing, except the size guide is off by an entire size. I have a Cane Corso or known as an Italian mastiff so I ordered the XL but it was way to big!

Purchased an XS for my miniature pinscher (roughly 8 lbs) - Fits perfect and my dog looks very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.
