Sono cresciuto conoscendo Conimex come unica marca per il Sambal Manis. Poi è sparita dagli scaffali dei supermercati. Ritrovarla è stato un regalo. Confezione grande. Prodotto ottimo come lo ricordavo.

Dieses Sambal ist mein liebstes, es ist mild genug als dass man wenig davon auf eine Reiswaffel mit Erdnussbutter als Snack essen kann, beim scharfen muss man da aufpassen. Für asiatische Gerichte insbesonders Burma ist eine Gewürzpaste besonders toll: Balachaung (Prawn Balachaung). Kannte ich aus England von Pataks, aber das ist nun auch Geschichte, dabei ist es unentbehrlich, selbst ist der Mann ist angesagt. Dieses Sambal Manis hat etwas davon und für viele Curry Gerichte (mit natürlich echten Gewürzen, fertiges Curry gibt es in Asien nicht, Curry steht für eine Gerichts-Art in 100001 Variationen) verwende ich diese Paste, u.a. in burmesischen Rezepten. Gut auch für eine authentische Erdnuss-Sauce.
