Clamps work great, and so does the tool. The only thing that would make it better would be if the tool was ratcheting, which you can buy from other sellers. Clamps are surprisingly good quality. Great value for the price.

Used this product right away and it worked great! Do your homework and you will be happy. I have three different pliers to really meet all the installation and removal situations you may come across. The pliers that come in this kit work fine and you won’t be disappointed. The clamps themselves are great quality and hold very well! I love this kit!

Love the assortment of clamps and the crimper however the sizes that come with the assortment did not seem to fit my needs in the way I thought. It turns out that hose clamps for this type of system vary but considerable amounts as to build, strength and clamp size. I needed this to clamp landscape irrigation pipe and felt that the sizes in the kit did not live up needs in the way other clamps that I ordered did. Other then that the kit does represent a good way to start clamping vs. "worm screw" clamping piping materials and is mush faster and seems to put better torque on the seal between my unions and piping. I gave it four stars because the clamps seem below average in thickness and width

These clamps are not the typical type you buy from auto parts stores. These are one use and typically are used in new car manufacturing. The advantage is a better clamp as well as no damage to your hose. This kit gives you every size anyone would and will need along with a quality tool to do the clamping. Small detail in auto repair but a better solution for everyone from the DYIer to the professional and at a great price to boot!

What a difference this makes. I have a kegerator and have to change beer lines occasionally. Regular hose clamps were always leaking. Using these solved all the leaking problems. They are more reliable and quicker to install than standard screw hose clamps.

Bought it because I was replacing a fuel pump in the tank of a vehicle and needed the low profile type clamp on one of the hoses. This tool and clamp did the job nicely. And now I have it in my collection for the next time I need it.
