Review: Kidnapping and Family - With Fuyumi having been kidnapped, Staz (with the help of Liz) begins to frantically search the Demon World for the missing ghost. Hearing Fuyumi's distress call, Bell moves to help her but unexpectedly this leads to a confrontation with Staz, a return home and discovering some of her family's secrets. Meanwhile Braz has been summoned to an audience with the King of the Demon World where he is questioned about his actions. This omnibus contains a further two volumes of the 'Blood Lad' manga (Chapters 21 to 30) and sees some interesting information about Staz and Bell's families, as well as some surprising revelations about Fuyumi herself. The characters introduced in this volume (mainly Bell's family and the King of the Demon World) are interesting and nicely designed and the plot of the series also begins to get very interesting. As well as having some interesting revelations, the chapters in this book has some reasonable action (such as when Bell is forced to go all out) as well as the usual humour throughout. The book also includes the usual colour pages and two Living in the Demon World bonus cartoons (this time dealing with Braz and the Demon Police Officer Beros). This is another great instalment of the 'Blood Lad' manga and one that leaves things in a very interesting place. The book is easily worth a full five stars. Review: I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book and also com the distributor as neither ... - My daughter loves manga. This book was a big hit on Christmas day and she is currently working her way through the series. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book and also com the distributor as neither have been a disappointment.

My son and daughter love this book series-9/11 year old-the later books have some somewhat revealing images of the characters, but the artwork inside isn’t so bad. They love the storyline. I wish manga had more content, they can finish them so fast!

I have to say that I first came across Blood Lad at Sakuracon when I went to the Yen Press panel they handed out among the free stuff volume 2 of Blood Lad. So I got volume 1 and read it. This is a really fun series. I read volume 3 the day i got it which was the release date and was ready for volume 4. I want to know whats really going on in this world. What is Staz's brother planning and what Staz's true feelings for Fuyumi are. Does he just want her blood or is there something else. I can't wait for the next volume.

The manga came in good condition. Although the top of the spine was starting to rip a little, I still thought it was acceptable. The cover feels different compared to the past volumes. Don’t know if it’s because they started producing with different material but it sorta feels weak. It feels like scratched paper (I hope that made sense). BUT other than those 2 debby downers, I think it came alright. In summary, just order it lol.
