Flaxseed Recipes Don't Shrink Elongating Hair Curling Gel for Natural Curls, Coils and Waves, Helps Prevent Dryness and Flaking, 15 oz

Y’all. I cut off all my hair in July of this year, and I haven’t worn it out because I felt self conscious about it being “too short”. I’m not sure how long my hair is, maybe a little more than 3 inches? But now I feel more comfortable wearing it as a TWA. I’m not sure my hair type, I know it’s type 4 and VERY dry most of the time despite me moisturizing it daily. Yesterday, I used Ms Jessie’s Pillow Soft curl gel and it was good for elongation but not curl definition. Today I got this and opened it immediately. I was surprised it has a sweet scent, not sure what it smells like but it’s a pleasant smell. Gel is kind of sticky, but it made it easy to finger coil my hair in 10 minutes mostly focusing on the front. I used my diffuser to dry my hair about 90% dry and y’all can see the result. You see these coils popping??? I’m very satisfied with this product! My hair looks shiny and moisturized, and not crunchy like my usual fav gel (olive oil eco styler) leaves my hair. My hair shrinks a lot even though I’ve bleached and colored it, but I won’t complain about that because that means it’s healthy right? First two pics are with the gel and last pic is from this morning after I used ms Jessie's. My hair did shrink with this product but I don’t care because my curls look luscious. Update a month later: so I added the pic of me in the grey shirt to show my hair combed out into a puff, and out of curiosity once it dried I used the gel on my hair and omg! The curls look even better and didn’t shrink as much when I used it on wet hair. I have fine, high density hair and as you can see in the pink shirt my hair looks too cute!! If it shrinks too much on wet hair, it works even better (imo) on dry hair!

This did well with my hair. My hair is happy by the way my hair felt stretched out curled up.No dryness the texture is consistent has a great hold durability and makes your hair have great hair health

Best curling gel ever!!! We have 4B and 4C textures in my house and this gel works really good to mold your ponytails or set your curls. No build up or residue, long lasting hold, and a nice shine.

Needed a hair product with minimal odor and residue, this fits the bill.

This is my favorite hair gel! The size of the jar is well worth the price. There is no overpowering scent and my hair has never been healthier using it. It holds my hair in styles without making my hair dry, crunchy, or flaky. It is also clear so there is no discoloration. It dries cleanly and does not leave a sticky residue. I have very fine strands and this keeps my curls bouncy without weighing them down. It even works for those with thicker, corse strands like my sister. She does not like it as much as I do, but this is on my list of recommendations.

I have viewed different ways of how to use this product on youtube and the internet before purchasing on Amazon. I chose to try it out figuring this product would be a littler nicer/kinder on my naturally wavy, curly, fine/thin hair without the use of stiffening products designed to hold a hair style in place. This is a huge container of product. It does not have a strong fragrance. I would describe it as having a semi-thick in consistency. Meaning it is not too thin nor too thick. Once applied to the hair it does not leave a sticky residue. There was a slight ‘holding/stiffening’ of the hair- not crunchy or hard-hair still moved naturally. The curls did remain elongated as opposed to shriveled up and tight. There was white residue on the comb and brush the next day after grooming. So, I feel like this is a product that definitely should be rinsed/washed out of the hair. It washes out with ease. In my opinion, if you have fine/thin hair as I have, the amount of product in this container will last a long time as you do not need a lot of product to produce the desired amount of curls. I would recommend watching some tutorials and videos on this product to get an idea of what to expect from the finished hairstyle. Also, I found this product to slightly dry my hair out and cause frizz. I have played around with the application of this product on my hair. I found it seems to work the best on soaking wet hair with a cream based leave in conditioner as opposed to towel dried or completely dry hair. The style did not carry over onto day 2. So, I guess if you are better than I am with hair styling, you may be able to use this product and carry the style for a few days rather than only one day. Overall, this product does in fact work. The curls I experienced did remain elongated and looked hydrated and healthy. Some may simply see slightly more defined waves and curls while others may see no difference at all. Personally, I was not impressed with the results on my hair. To me, my hair looked the same with or without this product. I would recommend buying this product if you want to try it out and are really looking for some curls. I am not disappointed in purchasing this product because I understand, everything is not for everyone. I will not purchase this product in the future for use on my own hair as I do not feel my hair responds well to products like this [I have also tried many other products designed to ‘make your hair curly’]. I am not sure how this product would fair on thick or straight hair. All I can say is, try it for yourself.

Watched a review on YouTube under the name Rejoice Ndimande and was amazed at her results. Ordered the quench as well can’t wait to use both together. Used a tiny amount in my youngest hair and after a day of play her curls are still phenomenal. Smells amazing and is lightweight so her curls are super bouncy. The image included is after a full day of play.
