Great Product
This is a good value product and I am very happy with the quality. It has a fine texture that makes it dissolve quickly, and has no taste on its own. I have used it to make crystal jellies, and it worked perfectly with the recipe ratios. If you are not familiar with agar, a couple of tips: - It needs to be kept at a boil/simmer for a minute or so. If you do not get it hot enough it will not set properly. - Agar does not do well with acids and it will not set properly if your mixture is too acidic!

Perfect, does the job
Works when your jam needs just a bit more help to set. Needs to be added early on while the fruit is still cold and stirred in well, to heat as it cooks. For thickening a hot jam, liquid pectin is better.

Ideal
This powder is ideal for making jam with fruits that are low in pectin. You can use more expensive jam making sugar. However, we use the normal granulated variety and add up to 1% (by weight) of this powder. It works a treat! Reasonably priced and quick delivery.

No using instructions. Jelly did not set
As there are no instructions, I did know his much to use. I used the quantity that I would have used for animal gelatine. But the jelly did not set.

Best low sugar recipe pectin I have ever used. I used the recommend amount and the jelly was almost too set. Reduce by 1 or 2 grams for a softer set, and mix with part of your sugar into cold or slightly warm juice to prevent clumps. I won't use anything else, again.
