Q: Anyone know what screw size is used for the handle?

After a couple of days of searching I have found the following screws at B&Q, they work a treat. The screw is long enough to connect with the handle but short enough not to poke out on the inside of the lid. Sturdy fit. http://www.diy.com/departments/m4-machine-screw-l-16-mm-dia-4-mm-pack-of-10/255965_BQ.prdCost is around £5, but at least the lid works.Enjoy

I've not got mine to hand to measure for you, it's in my caravan ready for next wkend . But I can say it's about 15inch diameter. It's very easy to use and very handy I love it.
