Hot Wheels Color Shifter Sharkport Showdown, Playset Shark thematic, Includes Toy Car, for Kids 4 Years+, BGK04

Gift for 8 year old who had wanted it for a long time. Very sturdy, and fits with other hot wheel tracks. Some of the track just ends with nothing connected so would be useful to have some corner track so it can go in a loop. The shark feature is fun on it's own but it's the colour changing car that gives the most entertainment. I was almost put of by other reviews which said the car didn't change colour, but as you can see from the photo this works well. There are two water tanks, one is filled with icy water, the other warm water. In icy water the car is orange, in warm water it is white. We found in a warm house the car stays orange. However the warm water tank seemed to cool quickly so had to be topped up with hot water regularly. It is messy though! Water ended up everywhere, in the spring/summer it will be a great garden toy.

Brilliant fun - my little boy was obsessed with clips of this on Youtube, and loves his colour changing cars from hotwheels. This is a really good item - its easy to assemble (and disassemble when needed!) and works perfectly. The first car gets chomped, send a second car down and it frees the first car as they both whizz to safety. Or you can set it so the shark doesn't bite at all (but where's the fun in that?!) A great item, and not too big wither, which is a relief when trying to store 1,001 toys in a 4 year old's room!

This is what my son asked for as a Christmas present. It is quite sturdy and easy to put together. Came with a colour changing car but after the car went white it took a week for it to go back to its original colour!! Didn't bother my child as he had other little cars but did ruin the idea of the car. Nice set for a four year old who loves hot wheels

A great gift for any little ones who like animals and cars, it’s interactive and educational as it changes the colour of the cars. It’s a great item for a fab price, the quality is excellent and it’s very sturdy once assembled

My 4 year old saw this on youtube and really wanted it for his birthday. I was SO happy when I came on here and saw how cheap it was! Very easy to assemble and sturdy.

4 year old definitely enjoyed this but .... the whole premise is that the shark catches a car and another one comes down to release it. But only one car provided. They could at least have provided 2 colour changing cars. Fiddly to put together and shark mechnism took several goes. An issue here is that when the car is rescued it gets thrown out. Make sure kid not close up as he got hit in face with it. Pool also needs to be deeper to aid colour change.

Nice little set, a little tricky to set up the shark mouth piece, but we got there in the end. It’s a shame the colour changing cars are quite difficult to find at a reasonable price.

My nephew loves hot wheels so he loved this.When I bought this I couldn’t find it anywhere else cheaper. Hot wheels stuff really is extortionately priced.
