Verbatim 43411 700MB 52x Extra Protection CD-R - 100 Pack Spindle

I like this product very much.

I have tried other CD-R discs in the past and found these the most reliable. I mainly use them to burn playlists of my classical music using Windows Media Player and I seem to get through dozens of them every few months. With this product, I have never had ONE failure; so it has to be 5 Stars! I realise they may not be the cheapest out there but do appear to be good quality CD-Rs. As well as technical reliability, the Verbatim discs are very robust and will take a fair bit of scraping and scratching before the data is affected. They even look well-manufactured. I've had some very cheap discs which are too thin and too flexible with a poor internal coating which is easily damaged. The cylindrical spindle box is also robust and easy to use. It opens/closes easily - again it appears well-made. I've had several laptops and all of them burn Verbatim discs perfectly, and at different burn speeds. The fastest burning speeds seem to be just as good as the slower speeds. So, definitely recommended. I also buy the little plastic sleeves available from Amazon and, although terribly thin, are usually a good price and more than adequate. The case was cracked BUT the discs are very good value.

I have used these Verbatim CD-R computer discs in the past, and have had no problems. Excellent reproduction, low failure rate, first-rate value for money. However... be warned if thinking about making your purchase from Amazon. My order arrived in a cardboard box several times too large for the size of the disc pack, with nothing more than two loosely scrunched pieces of brown paper for packing. This had resulted in the item rattling around inside the box in transit, and, as a consequence, both the spindle's base and plastic cover were broken and split. Whether any of the discs have been damaged, only time will tell. I'm generally pro-Amazon in the way items are packaged for posting. This, though, was negligent and unnecessary. And ironic, given the business's late interest it's customer's view on how orders are sent out. Even if the purchase had not contained pieces of computer equipment, this type of inadequate packing would not be acceptable. A customer buying from Amazon deserves better.

I ordered these because my previous ran out. I was a bit skeptical to order these, despite the reviews because i've had a bad experience with them in the past. I ordered it yesterday and it came today, (one-day), as per the prime option. It came very well packaged. You will need to be there to take it, as it is a big big item. I do many conversions, such as tape cassette's to CD, meaning that I need to use them regularly, and thus far, the first few, seem to work absolutely perfect. To be honest, you won't find them much cheaper and these have amazing reviews, which does justice for what it is. Each one is of minimal cost, so if you mess one up, no problem, go and use another one. So to anyone reading this, fundamentally, it came fast, well packaged, great quality of service and the item itself is perfect for the average/advanced users needs.

Best CD-R available with writable label.

CDs are reliable but outer case damaged in transit and a couple of CDs cracked. Rough handling and lack of internal protection.
