They're tea "temples" - pyramid shaped teabags that allow the leaves to move around more than traditional teabags for a superior cup of lovely peppermint tea!

Around how many teabags can this hold?

The tin probably holds about 30 tea bags stuffed in tightly. It is a good airtight tin. I use it to store all my teapig tea bags now.

What are those biodegradable bags made of?

As you can see - and as a previous reviewer mentioned - these tea bags are not biodegradable. They have been in my compost heap for a year and have not rotted down. We drink more Tetley in our house and there is no trace of those. (Sorry about the grubby hands 😀).
