Furniture Direct Pet Dog Cat Grooming Glove Dirt Hair Remover Brush Glove for Gentle Deshedding

In previous years I have bought the cat pet hair brushes and we just haven’t got on with them because I have a cat who really doesn’t like to be approached and stroked - she attacks & bites! So unless she comes to us (& we value your hands & arms) it’s been quite difficult to groom her fur! Also the brushes I’d got had metal bristles & could be quite harsh. I was advised to try a grooming glove by a friend who’s cat was just as bad. Purchased this one with trepidation! I had to leave it lying around the house in random places at first so that she could get used to seeing it! And it’s worked a treat! My cat now approaches the glove to let me know it’s grooming time! We’ve never been able to get near her tummy before but now she throws herself on BBC the floor and rolls over for the tummy strokes!!! When she’s had enough, she’ll attack but the glove protects my hand so NO MORE SCRATCHES for me!!! We both benefit! The glove has Velcro fastening about the wrist & the palm pad is plastic so no nasty wire bristles to hurt her! Only negative I can think of is that it is a bit big for my hand but I can live with that!! Definitely recommend

What a great idea - my male cat will NOT suffer being brushed but LOVES being “stroked” with the glove! Purrs like mad and rolls over so I can get both sides. The glove gets fur from lots of layers, not just surface hairs - even through my boy’s (very fluffy) coat. The hairs form a kind of mat on the glove and mostly lift up in one go so it’s easy to clean the glove after each grooming session. I’m so happy to be able to brush him, hoping this will slow down the rate of fur balls - and it’s just a lovely thing to do with/for your cat. Thank you!

Great idea & brushes dog hair no problem but a little tricky to clean off as hair gets clogged. But for the price is not bad. Fast delivery.

groomed my cats with it due to the warmer weather and they are malting everywhere.....removes most of the excess hair and super easy to clean ..only downside is its left handed and being right handed can sometimes be a bit hard to groom the trickier parts

Does a great job and my male cat loves it but my female one runs away, other than that its a great grooming glove for cats

Yes its cheap, yes it looks like any other grooming glove but our glove split apart. I'm online again to buy a better one if such a thing exists.

I’d been looking for something to help my bulldog shed her coat. after looking at the more expensive tools a friend recommend this one to me, I thought if it’s rubbish it’s only a few £‘s so no loss but oh boy it’s money well spent! couldn’t believe the amount of dead hair it removes, my bulldog also loves it and will nag to get her tooshy done as soon as she sets eyes on the glove lol Great product, great price!

This grooming mitt is superb. My long hair fluffy cat suffers from matting and fur balls in his gut. I cut the matts out and used this mitt to groom him and quite honestly, it really does get all the excess fur out. It literally does peel off just like the photo shows. It was only £2.77, free delivery and arrived in two days. My cat purrs when I use it, unlike normally when I use a brush or comb, which he hates. Fantastic product.
