Q: Will this fit over an rj45 connector and still shrink down enough? i need to use it on existing cat5e and cat6 cables.

These will only fit over a bare rj45 head with a lot of stretching and pulling. Which is exactly what I'm doing. I told my boss it would work, so I had to make it work! I print the labels, put them over a pair of scissors and then open the scissors so that it stretches the shrink tube opening wider. Even then, there is no way it would fit over a RJ45 with a boot on it. I'm using bootless no-snag cables from Monoprice and am having to cut the no snag part of the cable off to get these to fit over the RJ45 head. Hope this helps someone else.

According to Dymo's sizing charts, yes it will work with Cat 6

If you will be using these labels frequently I recommend to use the Rhino as the LabelManager printheads are not designed to print these labels long term. Q: Could these work on AA Batteries?

OK, I completely misunderstood your question, "Can these '1/4 inch' labels be used to label a AA battery."No they can't. The actual width of the flattened heat-shrink tubing is about 91% of the nominal width. So, the flattened tube width of '1/4 inch' labels is 0.228 inches; thus the circumference of the tubing is 2 x 0.228" = 0.455". This makes the inside diameter 0.455"/pi = 0.145".The AA Battery is 0.522" in diameter, which is much larger.Note, even the '3/4 inch' RhinoPRO heat-shrink tubing is 0.434" inside diameter and is too small for the AA battery.
