Lovely cutting food, well made, great attention to detail, much nicer than Melissa and Doug's versions.
These are lovely and very well made. They look appealing and encourage active role play and as they are well made, stand up to the rigours of toddler playtime and are a nice size for small hands. The finish is of a very high quality. Ours have survived being bitten, thrown on hard surfaces and banged against our toy kitchen. The paint quality is very good - the insides of the fruits are detailed and realistic as are the outsides which is a nice touch (perhaps more appreciated by adults, but nice all the same). Some have felt leaves (strawberry, pear and apple) They are a good size for toddlers and this means they can play with them alone (although we found the strawberry got put in mouths a lot - something we actively discouraged - and was the perfect size to gag a younger child). They are sized smaller than the Melissa and Doug's set we have - which I think are too big and not nearly as nicely finished or painted. The knife and cutting board are fine and provide a safe surface to cut the fruits on. Our set has been well played with and as other reviewers note, the velcro is probably the weakest part of the toys (although I think this could be replaced with care - I will update the review if I need to do this) and probably won't last more than two children. We found that toddlers would spontaneously want to play with it, cutting up the food repeatedly, using them to cook with and tidying them up when asked (the kiwi, lemon and strawberry will roll under furniture on a hard floor). They are suitable from about 18 months up and are enjoyed by 3+ year olds. Overall we loved them and are going to purchase more for Christmas/suggest to family as presents as we are so happy with them.

Better than the more expensive version
Awesome find...came across a more expensive version in a boutique children's clothes and toy shop and my little lad 17m loved the fruit and veg set but the shop was out of stock for Christmas. Checked on Amazon and found this alternative much cheaper better range of fruit and veg and in my opinion a little more life like. Little one loves them just as much.... Daddy loves them cause they were significantly cheaper... Win win If you have found the review useful please feel free to return the favour by rating it as helpful below. Highly recommend
Absolutely loved by my toddler. My toddler (almost 2 years old) is crazy about this fruit set. She has had the vegetable set since Christmas and it’s been a daily entertainment. Only issue we had is that she loves to wash the vegetables and it’s totally damaged the paint. Obviously that’s our fault for letting her. Velcro is loosing strength quickly but it doesn’t take away the fun for her. Little remark to Tildo is that it would be better if this comes with some wooden storage box like another non cutting set they have.

Nice eco option
I got these alongside a little wooden pan and utensil set for my daughters play kitchen and she loves them. Great for helping fine motor skills and a nice non- plastic option! The little cutting board could be used as they grow to help with meal prep too. Easy to clean and nice for learning colours as well.

Amazing
My daughter who is 1y8m absolutely loves it. She enjoys cutting the fruits or just separates them with her hands. It helped her learn how to say the fruit names which is fantastic. The fruits are very realistic in comparison with many other cutting sets. Very durable, it would be a great gift as well. After I bought this set, I bought the vegetable one - great as well.
