TK9400 2mm 2H Clutch Pencil

I am a joiner by trade and have experimented with a few different types of mechanical pencils , i have to say this is so far , by far the best I’ve used . I have listed a few points that i liked . The diameter of the pencil feels like a regular wooden pencil to hold ( some mechanical pencils are quite chunky ) Stays the same size after sharpening Well made 2mm lead when sharpened , produces nice fine marking lines , but strong enough not to snap when marking timber I highly recommend this pencil if you are a joiner , and are considering purchasing one . I will definitely be buying another one if this one goes missing ..

As a beginner artist I was very pleased to buy advanced materials for my hobby.

I keep adding more of these clutch pencils to my collection. Used with Faber-Castell graphites they are a top quality pencil. The cores still need to be sharpened, but no wood, so the waist graphite can be stored in pots and applied with brushes or paper stumps to give amazing results...no wood shavings....save a tree!

Very slick design, comfortable to hold and very convenient for architecture students. There is no included sharpener however.

I've been using these for 40 years, they are perfectly balanced, tactile and durable. I've only ever had to replace them when pilfered by small people...

I had one off these clutch pencils when I was at collage for engineering but had lost it. This one was to replace it and it has not let me down.

Between this and the Rotring 300 is thought race... I think I prefer this one because is lighter. If you miss the sharpner you are missing the wrong thing, go take a real sharpner like the Mars Tube

Faber do not disappoint, they make good gear.

The pencil is 2h which I couldn’t notice while ordering - if not specified it should have been HB, also there is no clip for latching it in pocket - inspire of having used such pencils all my life, am surprised how I didn’t notice these two aspects
