Gave to my granddaughters who are 3.9 and 2.5. They love it and have been playing with it non stop. Very real with a scanner and conveyor belt. Good quality, seems durable. I also bought the accessory package that includes bag, food, credit card etc….. wasn’t super hard to assemble took about 2 hours

This was my nephew’s Christmas gift (2yrs). It complete his entire Melissa & Doug Fresh Mart Grocery store, he was receiving from other relatives. My nephew LOVES goings to the grocery store, so this just made his Christmas. The quality is great, like a real store, it was all around fun to play with! As his repeat customers, we played grocery store the entire weekend.

Wow! My nearly 4-year-old Granddaughter spends hours with her grocery store! We take turns as clerk and customer, and she absolutely loves it. We highly recommend it! This encourages her to "write" a grocery list, and call for curbside or home delivery (Pandemic style)...all on her own, which is amazing! She loves the conveyor belt, cash register/calculator and the scanner as it beeps. She also uses the debit/credit device. For the price, it is well made, sturdy, safe and very easy to assemble. I wish IKEA could write and illustrate instructions this well. This was an early birthday gift and she'll be receiving the Melissa/Doug grocery cart, accessory kit, and "canned" foods! Just a few negative points; but, I want to make clear the Pros far outweigh constructive criticism and should in no way keep anyone from purchasing this. There are plastic feet for added stability but I removed them. They were more of a tripping hazard, but, we'll put them back on at the first sign of climbing. Keep them for children less than 3 and if they climb everything in sight. The plastic door for "refrigerated foods" is quite flimsy and doesn't close well. My Husband thinks this was intended to prevent a child from putting their full body weight on it, but I disagree. The third negative is the magnetic signature "face," on the credit/debit device, which greatly frustrates our Granddaughter. It doesn't work well and she so wants to write her name and see it. It's supposed to work like an Etch-a-Sketch but it's barely visible. Nor does the erasure mode work well. Most of our toys and learning activities are by Melissa and Doug: we LOVE this company for their sturdy, well made toys. The thought and care put into each product results in whimsical, imaginative play that rewards a child with encouragement, joy, and education.

I got rid of all the plastic, flimsy, or broken play food and changed it to wooden or relastic play food. Something easier to clean and more durable. With a 2 year old and 5 year old we need something that will last us time but also abuse from them and their friend thats here often. They love to play store, house or restruant. These are a perfect addition to our play kitchen. Super cute, fun colors, relastic, strudy, great value for the price. My friend was impressed she ended up getting some for her son. So glad I found these and the kiddos love them.

We bought this to go with our fresh mart “store” the details are amazing. The boxed items are very thick so they are sturdy and durable. It was the perfect accessory to go with our store.
