My son loves this. He loves the character on the paste cover. The flavor doesn't throw him off which makes it easy to brush his teeth with no hassle. My so is 2 years old. We've been using this for a long time now. Our go to after we tried a couple of others that didn't get the same results. When we are in the store he recognizes the outer package on the shelve and wants it. So overall this makes it easier for us to brush his teeth. The fact that it's ok if digested is a bonus. He's still learning to rinse mouth and spit. So I would not be buying anything else until he locks that down in the future. Overall great item.

I started using this as the very first toothpaste my kids used when brushing their teeth and the love it. From the taste, consistency, the foaminess, and the way that it cleans their teeth, it is definitely a win in my book! I do wish the size was a bit bigger but overall I am still a fan of it!

Perfect toothpaste for my toddler who is learning to brush her teeth. The paste keeps her teeth clean and the flavor is very mild not sweet at all in truly appreciate the flouride level and that it is Doctor recommended.

Great value for the price, easy to use, 14 month old hasn't rejected it yet. I tried a bit, it tastes very mild which is great because my little one is super sensitive to tastes and textures (won't even eat apple!). Does a fair job removing plaque from her tiny teeth, though there isn't much tooth yet. The gel is clear with no added colors, which means no added chemicals to make it "look appealing". Babies and toddlers really don't care that much. It's fluoride free, as all baby and toddler preparations should be. The best part is that it has been INDEPENDENTLY lab tested by 3 different non profit consumer groups, and has the lowest levels of lead and other heavy metals available from a major brand. THIS PART MATTERS, people. I know from life experience what high lead levels in blood can do to a child, and it is really important to check. Products that contain added flouride and whitening ingredients also typically contain trace amounts of lead. A small amount of lead is hard to avoid in the rocks used to make tooth cleaning products, but some contain a lot more than others, and more than is allowed in food. The difference is toothpaste quality is not policed by any overseeing agency, so you need to do the research. This gel has repeatedly tested low or zero for anything harmful, which is amazing, especially considering the price!!! Bonus that it also contains less plastic derived ingredients than even 'natural' brand had, less plastic than drbrowns had, less lead than toms. Double score if your child doesn't have a reaction to it, a negative response to the taste, or they like the characters on the tube I guess (I don't know what a Coco melon is, but Elmo is classic!)
