I've purchased two of these for an autistic and developmentally disabled four year old who engaged in frequent headbanging behavior. This helmet does exactly what it's supposed to. It stays on his head very securely, and is very well padded. I was surprised by the degree to which it can be adjusted. It can adjusted to fit on my head (which is US size 8 1/8) comfortably, but also small enough to fit a child comfortably and securely. Soak it in Scotch Guard to extend the life if it's going to be worn by someone who will abuse it. The first one we bought only lasted a couple of months, but the second is holding up much better with the Scotch Guard treatment.

My son has drop seizures and this has helped protect his noggin from banging the table, counter, floor. Adjustable circumference and neck strap for a perfect fit. It says to hand wash, but I’ve thrown it in the washer with no problems.

I bought this helmet about two months ago. Since I bought it, my mother has only fallen on her butt. She was doing weekly faceplants and going to the hospital for MRIs before I bought the helmet. I think she is intentionally not falling on her face just to annoy me. She also pretends to like wearing it. I'm sure this is also just to annoy me. I was sure she would hate it. I'll give her a few more months to fall on her face, then I'm going to bust out some wrestling moves to fully test the helmet.

The picture and description of item were fine but when the user tried it on he didn't like it. If we had been buying the item in a store where it could be felt, touched and tried on we would not have bought it. It will be returned to Amazon. w

Pros: This helmet fits very comfortably and has many velcro points to make adjustments. The construction and workmanship are of very high quality. (IMO) The front of the helm sticks out just a little bit which creates a visor effect for your eyes. The helmet shape resembles a bike helmet so I don't feel self-conscious about wearing it. The material is soft and looks like it can be cleaned with a damp cloth. The color I chose and the others I viewed are neutral. The one I chose goes well with the colors of my wardrobe. The fabric and foam are very breathable, so it hasn't been too hot. The day after I ordered this helmet I hit the back of my head. The helmet was really good protection. Cons: The way I usually hit my head I wish it covered another inch in the back. There is a rough spot inside the helmet that rubs a bit uncomfortably against my forehead. I'll be able to remedy this problem with a piece of tape. (See picture) If the seam was moved to the under edge of the helmet this wouldn't be an issue. The chin straps could be a little wider. Instead of Velcro, adjustable straps and a clasp would be a big improvement. (The same as a bike helmet.) This would make it easier to put on and take off. Each time I put it on I have to readjust the straps. This issue does not keep the helmet from fitting properly though and working as it should, for my own use.

worlds ugliest helmet and the slits on the top make it a dangerous product if your head hits a corner in between the slits it could be dangerous. The slits are to long and spread to for apart for it to be 100 percent safe, although the padding is thick. they need to redesign it and make it look better as well.

Llegó bien, es el segundo modelo que compro. Prefiero este porque el amarre es más cómodo y fácil de ajustar (el otro modelo es de nudo).
