Best quality/value sandbags in this range
These are awesome, and the best deal compared with similar products on Amazon. Quality construction, and ergonomic. The included clip is plastic, which isn't great, but you can replace that if you wish. Comes with plastic ziplock type bags for the sand -- which is essential. Velcro in various places on the bags are useful for different applications. Comes with 4 light duty clamps as well. All of this for the price is amazing! You're essentially paying ~$6 a bag + accessories. All you need is sand!

Solid Sand Bags
Super quality sandbags. The nylon that the actual bags are made of seems tough and the Velcro is extremely strong. Has a very handy handle on too for ease of moving around when full. I've read complaints that the plastic bags included to hold the sand are cheap rip easy, but I have had no problems with them. All thin plastic "easy" to rip, but provided you fill them with care you should have no problem. Would definitely recommend this to others and will most likely buy again.

The best on Amazon
Update 2: One of my sand bags split a side seam open (bad threads, bad sewing, I don't know). I contacted the seller and they replaced it immediately. They just asked for a photo of the broken bag, which is quite reasonable. I'm happy. My 5-star review stands. Update: My last two batches came with plastic bags! The plastic bags could definitely stand to be a couple mils thicker. But they are perfectly sized to fill with sand then just barely sneak into the velcro compartment. With 1-gallon ziplocks, you really had to carefully judge how much to fill the liner, overfill and it won't fit. No longer a problem. So I now have 16 of these. I did try some OTHER sandbags, with the double zippers and colorful stripes and such, and they all fell apart after just several days of film production - leaking sand at the corners, at ripped seams, etc. So I used the remaining sand in those as a head start on filling up 12 more of these. All my originals are still going strong and I'm sure will last a long time at the rate that I use them. Sure, not as long as real, PRO sandbags, which are made from real 500 denier NYLON instead of polyester, and sewn shut at the factory with crazy heavy duty nylon thread. But those also cost nearly 10x as much as these DIY bags. Original review: We've only used these on 8 shooting days so far, so it's honestly a bit early to judge their durability. But they do seem to be very well constructed, and I have little doubt they'll last a long time. If not, well, we luckily have access to a heavy duty sewing machine, so repairs should be easy. I like the double velcro flap system, seems very secure. I wish the external velcro, used to secure them to the leg of a stand, etc, went a little lower down on the bag (or was a broader strip) - just because when they are even slightly over-stuffed with sand or gravel, the narrow band of velcro has a hard time making good contact when the bag is draped over a larger gauge pipe, like a C-stand leg. But that doesn't matter too much, especially with the horizontal nature of a C-stand leg. It's with a more diagonal light-stand leg that this becomes more of a problem, and the bag will want to slide down and off the leg more easily. To mitigate this issue, I think we might add a loop/tie to the stands, and use the toy carabiners included with these bags to easily hook into that loop of paracord or zip ties.

Overall good, like the ziplock feature. Carabiner hooks are very lightweight.
The order arrived promptly and was shipped in a padded envelope . No issues with how it was shipped and packaged . Since I just received them I don’t have any real world usage as of yet with them, however they seem to be as described. Sturdy fabric, double ziplock pockets , carrying handle that seems to be able to take the weight they are designed for. Overall bags seam good. It also came with 3 asesories , 4 spring clamps , 4 carabiner hooks and 8 ziplock bags all made out of some plastic. The spring clamps are small but seems with decent stiff springs, for the size I imagine they will be good for something, time will tell . The hooks are disappointing , very cheep and lightweight plastic with what I can only characterize as paper clips for the locking/working part. Even a lightweight aluminum hook I would imagine would be better than these. The ziplock bags are mid-weight plastic , load them once or twice they will probably be fine but repeated untying I’m not so sure. Time will tell. For a few pennies more the heavy duty ones would have been preferred assuming the intended use is to put corse sand or small stones in them, dumping them back out as not to have to carry the weight with you back home. Else if loading once and keeping the sand in there I would imagine I would get some mileage out of them. One of my hooks came broken/with missing “paper clip” locking part and one fell off immediately on using it. As mentioned they are paper clip like so easy enough to put back on but I don’t think they will last. Overall seams like very decent bags, I’m so far on first inspection happy with them. My only minor complaint is on the carabiner hooks. Toys at best, pretty useless. Probably will look for some better replacement ones. Those are my first impressions, hope it will help you in deciding. G.

Gets the job done!
I’m an amateur photographer with a large traveling set-up. These are perfect for my needs and kept my autopoles/tripods stable with my 107” paper roll up at 15’. I filled the bags with small garden pebbles from the hardware store. The Velcro, seams, and handles are sturdy and I haven’t had any failures with several gigs under my belt so far.

Well Made and Durable: Recommended
These weight bags are very well made from heavy fabric with durable construction. Sand pockets close with two heavy-duty velcro strips so no zippers to break or jam and no chance of leaking. As an extra service, these bags are shipped with 8 plastic to contain sand (I used aquarium gravel instead), 4 caribiner clips and 4 small plastic alligator clamps (not sure what they're for but I will use them for woodworking!). I put 10 lbs. of gravel in each bag (could hold a bit more). I am very pleased with these weight bags and recommend them highly.
