Good shed. Sturdy and quick assembly.
Review for the Keter 6x6 feet shed. Easy to build for two people, took about 3 hours all in all. Once built it is quite sturdy for being just platic pieces fitting together with minimal bolting. Fits at least 5 adult bicycles easily, don't have to be put diagonally. I have 2 and then a bunch of other things. Comes with a shelf. Power drill highly recommended as has about 20 screws to install upwards to secure the roof. Bolting to floor is optional and is the last step, but a level sturdy base is a must, as if it's uneven then the whole thing will be misaligned and doors may not shut properly. It does come with a shed fooor that sits on whatever floor your installing it and holds the walls in place, but it's just hard plastic. And not really to be placed on uneven grass or dirt. If sunny, keep the parts in the shade (box closed) while assembling or they'll probably get too hot to handle for assembling. It has rained heavily and even hailed this past week it's been up, and so far it has withstood it perfectly. Don't expect any issues through winter, but we shall see. Happy with the purchase as was quick to build, requires minimal maintenance, is sturdy enough and actually looks good. Update Nov 2021: year and a half in. No maintenance on it, has maintained really well. Walls bulge and warp outwards a little bit only if something on the inside is leaned onto it. They come back to normal once sorted. It locks well with a simple combination lock. No water ingress or ice damage, no mold or other damp damage. Really good and still holding well after a year and a half with nil maintenance. Quite happy!

I would recommend that, if only for Heath and Safety
I bought 6 ft x 6ft version of this Shed.. The manufacturer advises that 2 people build this shed. I would recommend that, if only for Heath and Safety, holding Panels in place, Ladders etc. Although i ended up building it myself I was let down by my son; in truth I did it with out too much difficulty. I found the instructions inside to be very clear, and concise, in English. I have lost count of the times i have bought something for home assembly, only to find photocopied Chinese instructions inside. And literally had to build it on what I think goes where etc. A tip, I always grab a few Cereal Bowls from the Kitchen cupboard for home assemblies, I put all the screws + Fittings in different bowls straight out of their little hermetically sealed plastic bags. Putting the parts i will need earliest near the front, parts i need last near the back .Never mix them up. Fail to prepare = prepare to fail. Never lob all screws in one Bowl, fatal mistake. They might look similar, they are not, and they have different threads/lengths for a different purpose As I said, assembly was very easy, because of the clear instructions.. The biggest challenge was slotting the roof sheeting in to place along the centre piece. Only because it was awkward sliding it fully in to place along the groove .I wouldn’t advise trying to knock it in to place. In the end I put the lip in to the beginning of the groove at the front of the shed, slid the sheeting along the groove, where by it was fully in place by the end, in truth it wasn’t too hard. I used an electric screw driver on the floor panels. I also tightened all the plastic Screws on the side Panels even further after assembly with a Pair of Pliers. Finger tight just didn’t feel safe enough to me. At first I was a bit annoyed, the Doors were sticking on opening, and shutting after assembly. Now it has stopped completely and the Door open and shut without problem. I put that down to the fact, these plastic Sheds are made in bulk, packaged for transit. Obviously the outer Plastic edges of the Doors have to adjust to their new permanent assembly position and the outside temperature. If you have this problem bare with the Shed, mine stopped sticking within a couple of weeks.. I am very happy with the Shed, it is water tight and well made. It will probably still be stood there long after I am gone. Although more expensive than a wood/tin shed .I reckon it will still look great in 2,3, tears time when a wood one is falling to bits rotten, and the Tin Shed would be swaying in the wind.

Shed Okay...Amazon Customer Service Excellent.
Start at the top Delivery - Showed up when it was supposed to but had some damage to one of the boxes. Looks like the courier caused it. My wife tells me they photographed the boxes but neglected to take pictures of the damaged box. Naughty! Amazon customer service - Excellent: I immediately notified them of the damage to the box and explained that it would be a week or two until I could build it so wasn't sure if there was any damage. Two weeks later sure enough I found some very minor damage to one panel, two small shallow fifty pence size dents on the inside, I notified them and they quickly resolved it by giving me a very fair discount on the price. It wasn't worth the hassle of sending it back as the damage was very minor and being there for the courier on two more occassion wasn't worth it. Well done Amazon! The Shed: Quality wise it's okay and very easy to build. It took me three hours but that was after a long hard day clearing out the old wooden shed and getting rid of it. If I did it today it would take me ninety minues. One person can do it but you might need a hand screwing the roof panels into place. Read the instructions first and be very careful when using a power screwgun. You will need one but keep it on a low setting. Seems flimsy but once up solid enough. Not too bad space wise and no maintenance. I found I needed a wee bit more space so with the nice discount Amazon gave me I am going to buy the Keter Pation Box. That will give me all the storage I need. Value for Money..That's an entirely subjective thing. I paid £359.99 not including the discount I got later. If I had paid more than that I might not have thought it worthwhile. But bear in mind you won't have to spend £30 quid a tub on preservative or money on new roofing felt or bitument to re-waterproof a wooden shed. Niggles: Watch out for the plastic hinges for the mid point in the doors. They seem as though they could easily be broken when fitting. Maybe apply a wee bit of grease when snapping into place. One WeekAfter Build: Had some pretty good wind and rain and it's wind and watertight. Does what is says on the tin. Overall I'd give the shed 3 starts but added and extra star for Amazons' customer service which was very good. I'll see how it fares over the next few years but if doesn't stand up to normal wear and tear then the next one will be a wooden shed. They have more character but a bit more maintenance is needed.

Really happy with this shed
After reviewing similar types of shed and the reviews for this one, I opted for the 6x6 version, the shed arrived early and was contacted prior to delivery which was helpful in clearing a space. The shed arrived in 2 very large flat pack boxes and everything was there with no damage to anything. I assembled the shed by myself and it took about 3 hours, the main part was relatively quick and a good hour was taken up by the various fixings to the door, handles etc and fitting window. I would suggested; Make sure you assemble on a flat surface, the interlocking sides won’t align as easily otherwise. Assemble as per the instructions ie start at the front corner and fit the sides all the way round to the other side (eg don’t be tempted to fit all the corners). Look at the various YouTube videos about assembling the shed, the Keter ones are good, albeit they are quite quick time but you can always watch again or slow them down, there are some which highlight what not to do (as mentioned fit sides out of order and try to ‘slot’ sides in from the top) I found the videos really helpful and sped up things once I got going. Small steps needed to fit the upper side and end bits, they need to locate evenly to get the securing pins in, the roof was quite easy to fit by myself so wasn’t a problem and was no heavy lifting at all. I used a drill with a screw driver attachment which sped things up. I moved the shed after it was assembled, 2 of us managed and used a rope under it and ‘shuffled’ it into place I wouldn’t push hard at the sides or try lifting by the roof as although it’s certainly sturdy enough for use if you pushed hard at the sides, especially mid sections, you could damage them. I found the 2 slots where the door locking mechanism were supposed to be inserted weren’t fully ‘punched through) but they pushed in no problem at all, again the video helped clarify where they went. Summary Delighted with the shed and since assembled there have been a couple of torrential downpours and no problems at all with leaks, assembled it myself with no real problems, doors a bit fiddly, moved it once assembled with 2 people and a rope, the shelves are really handy as the plastic sides not really suitable for attaching brackets for bought shelves, arrived early and well packaged.

A great little shed
It arrived bang on time in two very heavy boxes which were strapped together - so watch out when you need to move them. I got the delivery men to place it in a convenient spot and then I unpacked them and transferred the contents to the back garden piece by piece - much better on the muscles! It was a two-man job to assemble but the instructions were clear and it went together in about 30-mins. When completely assembled it became very sturdy and swallowed my garden equipment plus three bikes with ease. The opaque roof strip is a nice touch and adds extra light in. The two shelves supplies are useful but you will need additional free-standing shelves for more storage as you can't seem to purchase additional fitted Keter shelving in the UK. Its nice and waterproof and the double doors are great for getting items in and out with ease. The sloping floor edge is great for wheeling in the lawnmower rather than having to hump it over a wooden door surround as I used to in the old shed. It looks good in the garden and a far better storage solution than the old wooden shed (which is now on its way to the tip in bits). So far I'm very happy with this purchase.

Do not buy this shed. Avoid.
I've had this shed since April 2024. I had it professionally built. Walls so thin and flimsy that you can't lean anything against them making storage of garden furniture impossible. It is now December, and on frosty days there is ice on the inside walls. Also in winter condensation drips down from the inside of the roof. Added to which there is a leak in one corner.I have to check and mop up each morning. Therefore storage of garden tools is not possible due to the damp and condensation. I bought this shed when it was on offer hoping it would be maintenance free as i am 73. How wrong I was. It has become a daily effort. Total waste of hundreds of pounds. Now thinking of cutting my loses and taking it down and replacing with a wooden one. It's seems Keter has greatly reduced the quality of their sheds. Sadly this one is headed for landfill.

Good value, quick to assemble shed.
Bought this as an easier alternative and less wait than a conventional wooden shed. Good purchase. Installation. Easy. Please note that you do need a level and sturdy base, we used plastic and gravel and this was fine. Installation probably requires 2 people and takes about 1/2 a day at most. The instructions are reasonably clear. Please note that the plastic fit is not 100% all the time so occasionally need to bang it in with a hammer. But otherwise only the roof was challenging. Sturdiness - it's pretty good. However I would not recommend a massive amount of weight leaning on the walls (ie its fine to lean shovel brush etc, but perhaps not multiple heavy folded metal chairs). The walls are plastic and in some cases quite thin. And you can feel it bending a little with heavy weight. There are some tougher plastic parts where it might be able to cope with more weight, so be aware. Please note the roof is also pretty thin. It is screwed in, but don't put anything on it. Doors are solid and good, as is it latch. Widow perhaps a little thin but frosted so can't see through it. Weatherproofing is good. It does not leak despite heavy rain. However please note that it is not exactly air tight. And there are gaps between joins in corners. Perhaps a little bit more than a wooden shed but not much worse. You will get the occasional spider and beetle able to get in. Although the shed is lightweight it's done pretty well in the wind so quite happy with it.

Head is a Shed
I bought this shed primarily because I couldn’t be bothered with wood and having to paint and treat it. I just wanted something I could assemble and then leave. But please read my other review about the base I bought to go with this shed, as it might help you decide on whether to buy this shed or a different base. I was deliberating for ages about whether to buy this shed because they don’t stipulate the delivery window. I checked around 8 or 9 other websites, and it was by far the cheapest on here. And to be honest, I wouldn’t want to pay any more than this for something of this quality anyway. I ordered it on the Monday morning, and it arrived on the Friday morning. So not bad really in terms of delivery. Cleverly, we waited until one of the hottest days of the year to put this shed together. With a rapidly deteriorating thatch, I donned the straw fedora and outright lied to the Mrs that I’d need to borrow her for an hour or so. 6 hours later, and after a warning from the neighbour over the language coming from our garden, the shed was up. However, I was now in very real danger of being buried underneath it. When the shed was delivered, it took two men a lot of effort to carry two huge boxes from their van. Quite surpising how much they weighed given that the panels themselves feel like they’d blow down when subjected to a particularly robust fart. The Mrs and I laid all the parts out on the lawn, and I must admit that everything was clearly labelled and easily identifiable from the assembly instructions. The panels do feel very flimsy and light when you’re putting the shed together, but I must say that when they’re all interlocked and bolted together, the whole structure does feel quite strong. In fact, the very next day after we assembled it, we had some really high winds and the shed didn’t move an inch. Putting it together tests not only your DIY skills, but the solidity of the relationship between you and the poor soul you rope in to putting it together. All the parts are there, the instructions make perfect sense, but the parts (particularly the panels) are VERY tough to get in the right position. Sliding the side panels in between the four corner pieces was not easy. You’d slot it in place one side, only to watch it pop out the other side. You really have to force the corner “pillars” into slightly unnatural angles in order to get the panels to fit properly. It’s the same with the roof panels. You’d slot it in to the groove on one side, only to see it pop out the other side. I had to climb up a ladder and guide it in while The Mrs pushed it from the ground. But even after you’ve done all that, you have to hold the entire structure in place while you drill some screws in to hold it all together. However, even after forcing the front and back roof beams together so the roof panels could be screwed in to place, the roof still doesn’t look water tight. There’s a gap of approximately 1 inch at the front and back. Easily plugged with some gaffer tape I suppose. Although having said all that, it has rained once since we put it up and no water got in the shed. The doors fit very snugly indeed, and sit flush with each other when shut. There’s two internal latches and one external latch, so coupled with the padlock the doors are very secure I think. I bought a heavy duty 50mm titanium padlock to lock it all up, and it fits perfectly. The window that comes with the shed isn’t really a window as such, it really just serves to let some light in as you can’t see in or out of the window. Looks good though. I bought a 6ftx6ft base (which wasn’t even 6ftx6ft), to fit this 6ftx6ft shed (which isn’t even 6ftx6ft), and there’s approximately a 1 to 2 inch overhang on each side. In all honesty, I wouldn’t bother with a pre-cast plastic base as they’re the wrong size and can’t be cut easily. You’re muich better off just buying a load of concrete slabs because at least if you buy too many it’ll still look good. Like I say, it took us 6hrs to put it together, but I think that, even if we hadn’t stopped for arguments or drinks, the quickest we could have done this would have been 4hrs. You do definitely need 2 people to put it together as some parts are large and others you need to hold in place while you drill somewhere else. So much easier with 2 people. All in all, I am happy with the shed as it’s the perfect size, looks great, feels solid, delivery was quick, price was good, can’t really complain too much. I just wish some parts were slightly larger, some were slightly smaller, and there was an option to have someone come round and build it for me!
