I installed this on my skylight and bathroom window. I love that it gives privacy but also still lets light filter in vs traditional darkening clings or shades. It was 70 degrees outside when I fitted it to the skylight and it would cling very easily when warm, I didn't even need to add water to the window but I did add small pieces of double-sided tape to secure the corners so gravity doesn't pull it down some day. The hardest part is making it perfectly flat without air bubbles or wrinkling. Make sure to measure and cut all the way to the window edges to avoid the natural window glass showing or else it makes it more obvious that the cling is fake.

*Technicallllly*, I would award this window film a 4.5. The half point deduction would be due to the exaggeration of the product’s vibrancy in some of the seller’s photos. That said, if you look at any of the customer photo reviews, you will see the colors as they appear in reality. At this point, it’s really a matter of due diligence on the part of the buyer to check these out. My first attempt at affixing one of these sheets was a nightmare. I tried spraying the window and film with plain water. Just a floppy mess. Then I tried mixing soap and water. Soapy and floppy mess. In my desperation I even tried hairspray. That initially may have helped just the tiniest bit, but a corner of the film peeled off shortly thereafter. I read the reviews again and a few folks noted that hanging the film with the edges flattened/less curled was key and that a hairdryer could help with this. I said to myself, “If a hairdryer is helpful then a heat gun must work wonders!” Yeah, don’t do that. It took me an embarrassingly long time to test out good ol’ gravity to help uncurl the edges. I measured and cut a new piece, laid it out on a flat surface, and pinned down the curly edges using a few, light weight bowls. **Come morning, the edges were suitably flattened and I attempted to hang this second segment of film with water and soap. BAM. Done.** My only other tip would be that, in my experience, trimming the excess film while on the window was a bit messy. Just make sure you have a sharp blade (and not a blunted X-Acto knife) and a straightedge if you’re going to trim while hanging.

Easy to use, installed on bathroom window. When sizing the vinyl, leave about 1/2 inch on each side to cut off. I used a plastic ruler to smooth it out. Worked perfect.

See picture for colors- not quite as light as depicted. More blues, and whites are pink. I purchased this based on the colors shown and, while not accurate, what I got still works in my room. Easy to cut, use. Be aware- price fluctuates very much in price. I saw it afterwards for 2/3 less. Amazon should have a refund policy if a product becomes less expensive in 30 days.

The worst part of this whole experience was cleaning the windows and prepping them for the application. Once the windows were good and clean the application was very simple and easy for anyone to do. I just mixed Dawn dishsoap with water in a spray bottle and sprayed both the film and window. It seemed like the more soap there was the better it stuck to the window and when it dries there is no soap residue visible. Once wet, I held the film up to the window and cut around the pain of glass with a new box blade. Then I used a squeegee to get excess water and bubbles out. Didn't take long at all to dry. I will definitely do this again to the windows in my daughters room that gets direct sunlight all day.
