As you can see I had a red I my hair. Unfortunately I woke up to extremely greasy hair this morning so it doesn't quite do the justice of how red it was. I could've lived with it though, had the dye given full coverage. It ended up an extremely patchy job on top of the fact the colour hadn't quite turned out as expected. I wanted a deeper mahogany and when it's freshly washed it's quite a garish red. So! After reading through a lot of the comments about this colour removal product I decided to go for it so I didn't have to go out with my hair looking like crap. If you're used to dying your hair from a box, then the instructions are extremely easy to follow. It's pretty much the exact same process. I was expecting the product to be stinking. I was expecting the product to attack my chest. I'm an asthmatic smoker and my asthma has been playing up along with my hayfever. The product did smell. But it wasn't stinking. Ammonia based hair dye smells worse. So this stuff was bearable. It also didn't really affect my breathing. I wrapped my head in clingfilm then puta towel on top for good measure and I left the product in for approximately 45mins then began the rinse process. No colour came away during the rinse and I wasn't sure if this was normal or not (I can now only assume it is) and I panicked a little. It wasn't until applying the buffer that my hair felt dry and almost brittle. So after I had rinsed that off, I took the advice of many on here, and applied a little conditioner. Then completed the next rinse process. I didn't put on any conditioner after this step as I bought a conditioning hair mask just for this which has left my hair silky soft (not quite as soft as it usually is after a shower) and smelling strongly of bananas. I knew from other comments that the red wouldn't completely lift and I was likely to be left with a gingery-blonde colour. It's gone more of an ash blonde which I can definitely live with for a few weeks to give my hair a rest before I dye it again. I plan on going back to my natural colour. Or as close as I can get. Im 37 with salt and pepper hair. My hair type is a mixed bag I'm afraid, it's thick, thin and fine as well as curly and frizzy. Genuinely got a full hybrid of both my parents hair. It can vary between dry and greasy. I can sometimes leave it several days before it needs to be washed. Or I sometimes have to wash it daily. Using hair products, blow dryers or straitners doesn't have an affect on how my hair wants to be that day. Overall this product worked incredibly well, lifting all the red tone from my hair. It didn't smell as bad as I expected and it didn't attack my already weak lungs. I would recommend conditioning at least once in between rinses and putting on a conditioning hair mask. 10/10 from me

Great if your looking for a more gentle way to get the dyes out your hair
I’ve dyed my hair all sorts of reds for about three years, and then for the last ten years I’ve been using cheap black box dye. I decided I wanted to go lighter and more natural again but I was too scared to go straight in with bleach since I haven’t treated my hair the best over the years. So I thought I’d try this first and go a bit gentler with it. I really didn’t think it would work because of how long I’ve been using black dye but after the first use I noticed a difference straight away. It stripped loads of the black out and I could see the reds underneath again. I used it again yesterday (about 5 weeks after the first time) and it worked great a second time, now I can properly see my natural colour coming through. I’m really impressed. My hair looks and feels the best it has in years. I’ll probably do it another one or two times and then should be back to how I want it. It’s definitely a slower process, but I’m really impressed with how it’s turning out. Big tip though: rinse it out for as long as you can. I’ve got very long hair and the first time I didn’t rinse it long enough and my hair absolutely STANK every time it got wet for a few weeks. This time I rinsed for about 10 minutes at first, then another 5–6 minutes for the two extra rinses, and I’ve been out in the rain today with only a really faint smell nothing like last time. I also put a hair mask on for 20 minutes after the process so that might’ve helped it not smell as much an feel great to.

Great product!
This product works insanely well. I went from Cherry Red to a light brown/caramel in one use. Absolutely no damage to my hair, it was a little dry after all the rinsing but I just used lots of conditioner! Would highly recommend.

Product Review: JoBaz Hair Colour Remover Extra Strength
"JoBaz Hair Colour Remover Extra Strength does exactly what it promises—it effectively removes darker shades and colour build‑up, leaving hair noticeably lighter and ready for a fresh colour. My only complaint is the lingering chemical smell, which can stick around for days after use and becomes quite unpleasant, especially at night when you're trying to sleep. Aside from the scent, the product performs well."

Only use once!
This STINKS but if you're okay with EVERYTHING smelling like rotton eggs then give it a go! Really easy to follow the instructions. I wanted to go from a Live purple back to my natural blonde. The first time i used this i got a light ginger which actually wasnt that bad and im sure with a few highlights i could achieve blonde in no time however, in my infinate wisdom i decided to use a second box thinking it would lift further, how wrong was i? After just half an hour my hair went BRIGHT ORANGE!! I was mortified. I ended up going to the supermarket last night and getting an ash brown to counteract it which has gone a caramel ginger brown kind of colour that im now going to have to highlight. So after this journey im no better off to when i started. I should have left it alone after the first go. It wasnt even horrible. The good thing about this stuff is it still leaves your hair feeling and looking healthy. Its still soft. I did use an intense mask after just in case. Back to the smell. The first time was manageable but word of warning if you have respiratory issues, the second application left my lungs physically aching, my chest felt awful and even my inhalers didnt help but you cant open any windows whilst using. It says no draughts and to stay warm! Id have given it 4 stars if it wasnt for the pain i was left in.
