JANSPORT Unisex Big Student Bookbag with 15-Inch Laptop Compartment

Excellent quality, space for the heavy parts of the weekly shop and it doesn't complain. LOTS of pockets. Comfortable to wear. The only thing I miss is a laptop pocket in the main compartment. (I never used it for laptops in my previous Jansport, just documents as it kept them neat.) My previous Jansport backpack gave up the ghost (zip in the external pocket broke so i needed safety pins, rest of pack is fine and still useable as designed) after 4 or 5 years and I bought this different type for the increased number of external pockets. I give it 5 stars and mean it but it would be really nice if I could have that laptop pocket, I found it so useful! The largest external pocket is actually almost large enough to be classed as a third compartment. The net pocket has broken at the bottom after a few months - but then so did the old one. It isn't a deal breaker for me, just a bit irritating

I'm using this on the daily commute and as an occasional overnight bag. Am very pleased with the quality of material and zips - all look built to last and withstand robust treatment. I like the separate document section and the main compartment which can easily fit a laptop with plenty of room to spare. Also plenty of room in the smaller front pockets to organise sationery and personal items. Overall it's comfortable and carries plenty without feeling too heavy - would highly recommend

This is a lovely backpack. I use it as handluggage when travelling with my 3year old daughter. The bag is very strong and durable, believe me, it's always packed to beyond capacity! Have done so many trips with this backpack, and it still looks brand new. The zippers are of good quality and the different compartments make it easy to pack and seperate items. Would recommend this for anyone needing a backpack.

These bags are fantastic,This is the second one I have bought. They hold a huge amount. My son uses it for his school books and never has a problem fitting them in and considering the strain on the zip and the way he treats the bag it has now lasted him for two years of school. I will definately be buying a third one

I've had a couple of Jansport rucksacks previous to this which were slightly smaller. I loved them, and this one has a lot more capacity and plenty of compartments (5 in total). I have taken it on holiday to France and Ryanair were happy to let me take it on board as hand luggage (even though when you pack it to the brim, I think it exceeds their size restrictions. The zips are sturdy, however the straps aren't as soft and comfortable as the other ones I've had.

Best rucksack I've ever owned. I bought this in 2011 and I'm only now starting to think of replacing it in 2017. Huge amounts of storage space and it handles wear and tare very well. It got me through a masters degree, a PhD, several international trips, and moving country! I love it so much that I'm going to replace it with the exact same model! Highly recommended.

Trying to get a school bag that carries everything my son needs was virtually impossible, he was taking two bags quite often which was ok but as he travels on public transport to and from school and has to walk a lot, it was difficult for him. Thought we would try this one and so far it has been great - can fit his sports clothes and school folder into one bag when he needs.

Fits a ridiculous amount of stuff! I'm a teacher and I can get 45 A4 exercise books, my external hard drive, an umbrella, my lunch and a variety of other, smaller items in here with no problems. I also used it for a hen weekend away and was able to fit everything I needed for the full three days into here. Very happy.
