At 5-8, 165, Amazon recommended this to me in the Large size and I usually wear a Large mens jacket for layering purposes, but this jacket was too long, hitting about 2 to 3 inches past my waist with too much room in the chest and the sleeves were also about an inch+ too long, making the sleeves bunch up. To look good these softshells need to be worn as an athletic look or they bulge weird and look sloppy. Overall the jacket appears well made for a Chinese product. I was expecting something much lighter in material due to the price. Almost identical in weight, materials and style of a Spiewack jacket I bought a few years ago and paid over $150 for. I was looking for a cheap jacket to throw a business logo on and I got more than I expected with this item. We will see how well it takes embroidery. I will return the large I got and get a medium so it fits more cut for business casual wear. My only complaint is the jacket took about 12 days to arrive. Amazon says it ships in 4 to 5 days, but the current estimated arrival time for an in-stock jacket is just over 30 days now.

I should have purchased this coat much earlier in the winter. I only wore it a couple of times before the weather warmed up but the couple of times I did wear it, I really liked the fit and feel of it. I am looking forward to wearing it next winter.

Cons: Zipper pull is on the left. It’s not a big deal, but men will notice it every time they wear it since absolutely nothing in men’s apparel has a zipper on the left.Pros: Attractively cut, pleasantly flexible material, three zippered exterior pockets, and a high neck line when zipped all the way up, but with adequate neck space.Summary: We’ll worth the price, and on par with some other “tactical” brands that charge 3x more for a very similar jacket.

This looks nice and is well made and comfortable to wear. It does have a left handed zipper, if that makes a difference to you.

I needed to replace a worn-out jacket that I have taken to the Philippines, Hawaii, Arizona, Seattle and Sitka Alaska. The most important thing is the there was a zippered breast pocket like my old jacket. This is where I keep my passport and ticket while traveling. Looking at traveling to Italy and Sweden and possibly Ireland this year.

I use it as a motorcycle jacket. The cuffs are easily adjusted. the bottom tightens to keep the wind out. Warm and fits well.

I might have missed it in the product description but it also can be tailored at the waist (simple draw strings) to adjust one's individual body type. Nice extra.
