Excellent art paper for prints
Try as one might to want to find a slightly cheaper printing paper, and I have tried two other brands, this is easily the best for a number of reasons. Firstly, it takes the ink well and has a smooth printing surface. Secondly, although at 189gsm it is slightly thinner than other similar papers, the paper is also quite stiff so you hardly notice the difference. Print quality is noticeably better and the 189gsm gauge is less prone to jamming in my Epson printer. I'm very pleased with this paper, its archival quality and the tonal range of the prints I have made. It is a bit of a challenge to distinguish which side is brighter, but the print side is also a bit smoother, which helps to choose the right side. I have printed on both sides and the quality on the right side is much higher, so if you are not getting the quality you want. perhaps you should print on the other side. Also, my paper comes with the print side facing down, relative to the cover image on the box - I hope that this is helpful.

Really high quality paper
I bought this paper to make a few art prints and I have not been disappointed. The print quality on this paper is incredibly high and the colours are gorgeous. I set my printer setting to high quality printing on matte paper and the results are stunning. It's a heavier than copy paper; it's almost like a thin cardstock. I noticed some reviewers marking it down as they couldn't tell the difference between the 'front' and the 'back' of the paper, but the side you print on is obviously much whiter, and unless you're printing in low-light conditions I don't see how you could get them confused. It is a little pricey (currently sitting at £14.89 per pack of 50 sheets), but you get what you pay for. If you work it out, each sheet is about 30p which I believe to be incredibly good value. I'd definitely recommend this paper for anyone who wants to make some high-quality prints, either for personal use or for sale.

My prints have never looked so good
I purchased these after reading the reviews, and at this price for 50 sheets, thought it would be worth a try at least. I usually use Epson Premium Semi-Gloss as I sell framed prints and have been more than happy with the results of that paper too, but having printed a couple of shots onto this paper, the clarity is like watching a full HD movie on your LCD TV and seeing what you've been missing. The fact there is no reflection off the finish, and the way it handles details, colour and contrast are sheer brilliant. I was a bit concerned because I use my Epson PX700W with dye based inks in a CISS system, but the results seem more than satisfactory and I am pretty sure it uses less ink per print. Because of the matte finish, you don't have to be so careful when handling the print which makes framing them easier, and they look the part when behind glass too. Would more than happily recommend this paper to anyone who wants their images to look their best and will definitely be getting some of the A3 size paper when I get round to purchasing a larger printer in the future,

My standard photo paper
For years I have been using this paper in A4 and A3+ formats, and it is still my first choice. Used with my Epson Stylus Photo 2100, it gives consistent results and long life. I have prints that are 10 years old, both under glass and uncovered. There is slight loss of impact in the uncovered prints that are exposed to high UV, but under glass they are as good as the day they were printed. An improvement would be to make the back (non printing side) more distinguishable from the print side, as at a glance they are similar. On the Epson printer software the max resolution that can be selected is 1440 dpi, but there is no discernible improvement over using the faster 720 dpi. Using Epson standard printer profiles is fairly close, but a custom profile is even better if you run a calibrated monitor and use colour aware software such as Lightroom and Photoshop.

Perfect for prints to sell
I was nervous to try out new photopapers, but the quality is amazing, has a very fine, smooth texture that I prefer. The colours had less contrast than my artworks, but it still looked beautiful. My only problem was that the packaging said to print on the whiter side of the paper, but for me both sides look EXACTLY the same. I was also afraid of the weight, some people wrote their printer didn't feed the paper through, I've had no problem, went like hot knife and butter. (I use Canon iP7250) Can only recommend.

easily 5 stars
I usually buy this product on Amazon as it's tricky to find it in shops. I am an artist who makes limited edition prints & was attracted to this paper because of its "archival" property & affordable price. I totally agree with all the other reviews here as to the quality of this paper & easily award it 5 stars. I've been using Archival Matt since I bought my Epson R800 about 5 years ago & really like it...the R800 can be a bit iffy about accepting some of the lovely heavier watercolour papers & as this one is "medium weight" 192gsm it causes no problems in loading. I've never found any fading of the prints made so far so am very happy to recommend it. The colour depth achieved is superb & subtle. Today I've noticed that Epson do a matt paper that is not archival but it too seems to have good reviews so I'm going to try that for my handmade greetings cards.

Very nice paper that's suitable for making high quality art prints and gift tags. It's not the most sturdiest and does not have any texture, but does make awesome prints. I now use these with Epson Ecotank ET-8500, but used these previously with a Canon Pixma printer and it worked well with both printers. I like the soft feel surface of the paper as well, makes it feel high quality :)

The print quality is Amazing. Really. This paper brings all the colors, it's perfect to print digital art. 5 stars for this. That being said, it's also very fragile. I put washi tape on a printed part because I needed a stencil and it basically removed part of the print. think it's fine since most people won't do strange mixed experiments like me. But I also had a scratch on one print, due to having put multiple A5 prints together. So, very fragile indeed.
