These are lovely play silks! We continue to buy them (in other colors) because we enjoy them so much. They are very sheer and thin, but they are silk so I expected that. My kids enjoy how light they are so they can flow through the air so nicely as capes, parachutes, etc.

Love these play silks! I wanted to add a review to explain the difference between this "gold" color and the "yellow" color of Sarah's Silks--I got both. They are indeed different colors, but this one is a bit more of a nice rich egg yolk color (a darker warm yellow) while the "yellow" one is a lighter lemon yellow. This one is not metallic at all. You don't need both unless you're looking for a color gradation on purpose.

Kids love the actual silk from Sarah's much more than the cheaper stuff. Great colors, great costumes and play.

These are so sweet! My little one loves playing with them. They're soft, and the perfect balance of brilliant color and translucency... A great addition to our play time fun.

These are great for imaginative play. My toddler loves to wear them as a cape or use them as a blanket for dolls. One reviewer said they're very durable, but that's not a word I would use to describe this item. They don't snag easily, but if the fibers are pulled on, a mark remains, it's difficult to describe. It shows marks on fibers that are pulled taught or caught on On my way! thing, so it may be better for older children who understand its slightly delicate nature. My toddler handles it well, but that's been luck. I would probably sooner buy my own fabric and fashion a hem than buy another one of these at such a high price point.

The scarf is gorgeous. The color is not quite yellow, it is really gold, a bit like sand at the beach. As soon as we received it, my children were reading a book about Pete the Cat, and used it as sand at the beach! The feeling was great. This scarf is light and see-through.

I bought these to wrap my tarot cards in. I was a little worried that they weren’t 100% silk but they seem to be. They are thin but that works perfect for me. I will be buying again

These are the best silks and worth the money!
