Great product. I put a different brand back seat on a few years ago and immediately wished I’d spent the extra money on the Madjax. I found the installation videos on YouTube and decided to buy this brand of headlights and was very happy with how easy the videos were to follow and what a good product they were when I installed them. So when I decided I couldn’t stand my old back seat anymore I knew which brand to switch to. Video isn’t perfect but it’s very close and way better than instructions that come with all products. A little common sense and mechanical ability and installation was pretty easy. Thick sturdy lightweight molded plastic is so much better than the crappy pit metal that bends that I had before. Should have spent a little more money and bought the madjax the first time instead of eventually buying 2. I didn’t even sell the old one because I was so happy with this back seat I couldn’t in good conscience let anyone else waste their time putting it on their cart. This one is about 100 lbs lighter and sturdier and makes the cart ride 10x better. Back platform is 10x sturdier and if u fold it up it fits on my 4x8 trailer. After having another brand I can tell u this is a 10. I also ordered the “storage box” and can tell u it hold a case of “cans” and ice. Check out the YouTube videos on installation and you’ll be sold. Highly recommend!

I managed to rip the entire Genesis seat off of my Club Car. I didn’t pay attention going through my gate and the ladder laying across the back caught on my drive thru gate. This replacement was an easy task. Everything fit as it should.

Good quality materials. Moderate installation difficulty. Poor instructions. Passengers will hit their heads on the roof.

It is a great product but a pain to install. The product we got came with a defect in the seat cushion and golf cart king went out of their way to make sure everything got replaced . . . Twice! I was so impressed with their service that we ended up buying tires and rims from them as well.

Please tell Madjax to update their instructions. They have replaced some of the parts and the instructions do not show how to install the new parts. Number 4 bag contained arm rest bolts. There was no number 4 bag instead the bolts were already installed in the arm rest and one was crossed threaded and was imposable to reinstall. Had to purchase a replacement bolt. Also after a hour of very limited instructions I put the instructions away and built the seat the best I could. The order was also hard to follow.

I bought the cheap metal ones that rust after some days outside. Rest assure the aluminum is powder coated well on the Genesis 300. The plastic components are tough and solid. The bolts and screws are high quality! The direction are not the best but MadJaxTV on YT has a step by step tutorial for this setup. High quality product! And it comes with built in connection points for safety belts.
