I love this bucket. I use it to wash my CR-V. When it's not in used, I keep the car wash supplies in it. The bucket is very sturdy and, despite the small-ish handle, it's easy to carry. I actually left my car wash supplies on one side and filled the other about half way with my soapy water and it worked out great. I did empty the bucket of supplies when I dumped the water and rinsed the whole thing out, but even just one compartment full of suds was enough to clean my car (granted, it's not that dirty being a month old and having had rain at least once a week since I got it). If my car ever gets super dirty, I can use one side as a rinse for my sponges and the other for the cleaner soapy water. The spout works great, and the bucket holds a lot! When it's done and dried, I can easily store it in my closet. It even fits on the shelf portion of my coat closet, as long as I keep the heavy stuff towards the back by the wall. Overall, even though it's costly, I totally recommend this bucket.

This is a good quality, heavy duty commercial bucket that is perfect for use in my residential cleaning business. I really like the double sides, which helps me separate the cleaning bottles from the cleaning towels and implements. When I need to use the bucket for mopping, I can use one side for the soapy water and one side to rinse. The lip allows the water to drain neatly when I'm emptying the bucket. The size is wide and deep enough to allow my flat head mop and my window washing implement to fit nicely. I highly recommend this bucket for commercial as well as residential use.

There isn't much to say about a divided bucket. It is very sturdy, holds about 2 gallons per side. The handle is securely attached. There is a pouring lip on one of the shorter sides of the bucket. It is hefty for a plastic bucket - about 3 pounds empty. Filled half way, it will weigh in at about 20 pounds. If weight is an issue for you, keep that in mind when considering this bucket. I use it for mopping floors - one side with clean soapy water & the other with acidulated rinse water (that is clear water with about 1/2 cup white vinegar per gallon of water - it cleans out the mop head more thoroughly each time you rinse it between mopping passes). I have used one in the past for window cleaning as well using a window mop & squeegee. I had to replace the old one - more that 20 years old, by the way - after it was left our side in -35F weather and driven on by a pick-up truck - I don't think anything is made to take that sort of punishment. Barring similar abuse on your part, you should find that this item will be a one time purchase.

I soak my feet for everything from foot pain to pedicure preparation. These are, for the most part, excellent. Because they have no motor to clog, you can use just about any foot soak solution you wish including Epsom salt. You can also watch TV, listen to music, or have an ordinary conversation. They retain the water temperature for a good 20-30 minutes and the soak goes above the ankle. The only places where they fall down are a) the weight of the water and b) transportability. Because of this, they may fall into disuse. My answer is to use this in conjunction with another product called Soakees that is also available on Amazon. Soakees are individual foot wraps that only use a few cups of water. And, I can take them anywhere (including the gym). I imagine that if I were evaluating the Rubbermaids for the the use they were designed, I'd give them five stars. This bucket is fantastic! I have always found that when it comes to some things (cleaning supplies being one of them), buying the commercial product is a great idea. This is a good example of that. This bucket is extremely well made of thick, heavy grade plastic. The handle is very sturdy; you can fill both sides up to the brim and it doesn't even break a sweat. I use the bucket to clean my floors and my car, and having two sides is fantastic. I can keep my clean water with cleaning products in one side, and my dirty rinse water in the other so that the grime actually gets removed and not just spread around. When I'm done cleaning, the bucket has a thoughtful pour spout on the top and a handle on the bottom so that you can easily grab it and dump both sides out together. No spills! Only downside is the size. This bucket is very large. But since I can use it for everything, it is worth the extra size. Overall, great product and I would highly recommend.

We purchased the Rubbermaid Double Pail Plastic Bucket to organize cleaning supplies (soaps, gloves, cleanser, sponges, brushes, etc.). The Rubbermaid bucket sits on the floor of a bathroom closet -- it's so much better than having an assortment of cleaning supplies just sitting on the closet floor. We love this organizer: it is divided in the center which lets me put liquid laundry soaps on one side and bathroom cleaning supplies on the other side. It is very well made. I was happy when it fit perfectly into the small closet in our bathroom!

This review is for the Rubbermaid double bucket. This is a great design that I would never want to live without. I primarily use it for mopping floors, keeping a soap solution in one side and a plain water rinse in the other. My bucket did come with a handle, unlike what some other reviewers here have apparently experienced. If you fill up both sides, the bucket can be pretty heavy but the handle and bucket construction are certainly sufficiently strong if that's how you want to use it.
