I decided to write this review after reading insane low reviews. Ignore. How anyone finds this smell offensive is beyond my logical comprehension? The smell is soft and neutral all natural smells. Amazing Heat Protector! Salon quality that leaves Aveda in the dust. So far superior to anything I bought from Aveda. My hair is soft and luxurious after my blow dry, no frizz, ends are nourished not greasy at all. My hair is colored and gray underneath. If I do not get a good blow dry, it becomes frizzy. This heat protection is no joke. No silicone or plastics in this high quality product so your hair can still take in nutrients from the air and sun and doesn’t block healthy normal hair. Excellent product!!

Maybe because I used this on damp hair after towel drying, it wasn't greasy even though I though I applied a generous amount. In fact, it didn't seem to weigh my hair down at all. My hair was smooth and shiny but especially softer. There is no added fragrance. The scent of the ingredients is rather pleasant, light, and doesn't linger. Yes, this is watery. I wish the spray was wider. It's closer to a stream than a spray, requiring me to work it more through my fragile hair. The bottle arrived unsealed. I don't prefer this product enough to pay $22 for it.

i ordered a few josh rosebrook products to try around the same time but i probably should have started with one because i personally really did not like any of them. in fact i was only able to try each one once, because i could just not stand the smell. it's not that they smell foul or anything, but i just highly disliked the scent. i did try to use another scented product over it so that i could hopefully at least continue to use these products for the benefits they offer...but this scent just overpowered :(

This serum is good for calming my frizzies. It is easy to use and I only need a little bit for my fine hair. It adds shine and softness. Very happy with this. Oh, and it smells wonderful.

I love using this spray on my freshly showered towel dried hair. It makes it so smooth and soft. I have a lot of very long hair that is also very fine, this serum helps it lay flat and not get tangled. I’ve recently discovered it also works beautifully on my 11 month olds hair. As you can see in pictures his hair is normally out of control but one spritz of this spray and his curls are smooth and no longer sticking straight up. With these ingredients I felt good about using this on his delicate head.

I have been using this serum for the past seven days and I absolutely love the scent and how it makes my hair feel so soft. I have short, fine but rather dry hair and this spray serum makes it smooth without any dry ends. I have to be careful and just spray a little on my towel dried hair or it will make it look greasy instead of shiny. It comes in a beautiful bottle so would gift well. I would recommend you give this product a try and experiment how much to use for your specific hair.

The smell is not bad and has a light herbal mix that is pleasant enough. It does not feel harsh on the scalp and the idea of a weightless serum sounded good. I was hoping it would smooth my waves and control frizz without leaving build up. The issue is the spray itself. It does not mist at all and instead pumps out small streams that feel like thick drops of water hitting the scalp. The product also feels like oil mixed with water and leaves an oily residue on the hair. It does not match the purpose described and ends up weighing down the hair rather than defining it.
