Great PSU
I think this is the best PSU for the money. I have a 850 in one rig and a 1200 in a rig with a 5080, since I couldn't get a 5090 and realized I don't want to spend $3k+ on a 5090. So great power supply. Quite. Due to it being modular it's easy to manage cables as you only need the ones you plan to use. Functions as intended, not much to say about that. Great it has a switch for zero noise levels though I never use that function. Heafy in weight but great build quality.

Excellent value!
Excellent PSU at a good price, has been powering my 9800X3D+5090 build for a year without issue. Thermaltake's high end units are always great, ignore what you hear about their Smart line as it's not representative of their entire product stack.

As good or better than the Corsair 1000w model
I'd purchased another Thermaltake PSU a few months prior that was catastrophically dead on arrival, but decided since my usual experience with them is positive that I'd give another product a go instead. For my partner's computer I purchased a Corsair RM1000x, and building with it was a dream. It was overkill, but it was easy overkill. I decided to get something of a similar nature from Thermaltake, and while I had some slight gripes about cabling in comparison to the RM1000x (which has very flexible and easy to work with cables) I had absolutely no issues in getting a functioning build. It's currently supporting a 3070 and a 7700x with no sign of slowing down and no coil whine, regardless of stress testing. I'd recommend this over most other PSUs I've bought, and while EVGA is still my go to brand I think this has bumped Thermaltake's reputation in my mind a good degree. The only real complaint I would say they can take an actionable measure to resolve is to PLEASE STOP USING TRUE POWER RATINGS. They are misleading, convoluted and inaccurate methods of gauging the performance of a PSU. The 80 Plus system is a more intuitive, reliable and most importantly STANDARDIZED form of communicating a product's quality to consumers.

Fixed My Coil Whine
Quiet and powerful. Great value. The native 12VHPWR cable and modular PCIe cables allowed me to run 2 5080s off this unit and keep cable clutter down. Best of all my PC runs quieter than ever. Coil whine experienced with a 9070 XT and the 5080 are now gone completely.

Carefull, Error in my favor
Planning to update my rig I picked up the 1200W with 12VHPR. It for some reason was priced a bit lower than the 1000W. I ended up deciding upon a AMD Graphics card and X870 motherboard. Oops my bad. This power supply is really meant for 4000 series GPU. I am short one PCIE cable and 12VHPR is unused. Luckily I was able to pick up a 12VHPR to 3 PCIE conversation cable. Awesome now I have 2 extra PCIE for future if I ever need them and can easily switch out to a 12VHPR GPU. WIN WIN. Power supply is good and not noisy. The provided cables are good, just be aware it is intended for 4000 series GPU.

Caused My Breakers to Trip
I used this PSU for less than an hour. I installed the PSU and everything looked fine. Then I started playing a game, which draws more power because of the GPU. Boom, power goes out in my room. The breaker got tripped. OK? I reset the breaker, turn on the PC. Seems OK so far. Start play a game again and BOOM. Breaker got tripped again. I took my PC apart and checked to make sure all the cables are seated properly. Tested again, BOOM. There goes my power again. Reset the breaker, switched over to my old PSU. Played the same game for over 4 hours. No issues. I am disappointed because the Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 seems to be a highly rated PSU. I picked up the Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 because it was so highly rated even though I could get one much cheaper. I am really hoping the GF3 did not damage any of my PC's component. Everything seems to be fine for now and I will just run with my old (EVGA) PSU.

Excellent
This was the cheapest available ATX 3.0 PSU at this power rating when I purchased it to build my new gaming system. I have been using it for several years with my Intel Core i9 13900KF, NVidia RTX 4090, Asus Prime Z790-A, and an array of SSDs and cooling fans. It has been completely reliable and never gets very noisy even under full load.

Powers the Aorus RTX 5080 with single cable.
This is for the 1200 watt 80+ Gold, Have no complaints, bought it for the single 600 watt cable for use with the Gigabyte Aorus Master RTX 5080 and psu runs silently. I barely hear anything coming from the case when the gpu is pulling 300 watts. Setup was easy as it’s fully modular. 89.7% efficiency rating using 110v power receptacle.
