Purchase these after purchasing the cheaper ones, don’t understand why it’s so expensive?!?!
My dog had liquid in his elbow so after we got them drained, I had to purchase padding for his elbows. I went cheap and bought the $25 pair and they were garbage my dog chewed through them within hours not even a day you can see that review on my reviews so after that, I saw these purchased them and they were great. They worked really well I think because they’re kind of like the neoprene knee pads or ankle pads that you usually get and you can switch them down a little tighter so that they fit well , it worked out pretty good for my dog. My dog is a Dutch shepherd and he’s very active so it works pretty good. He didn’t even train by the strap off so that was great and I think he actually enjoyed wearing them eventually. Again, I think it’s just because it fit really well. I do recommend this product. The only thing which irks me is the price. The human supports with more neoprene are way less money. Not sure why it needs to be so expensive!?!?

Fantastic to Help Heal a Hygroma
My husky developed a nasty hygroma on her elbow. It was bad. She also managed to be able to lick it and made it even worse. I bought this brace to help cushion her elbow and also keep her from being able to lick it.She hated it at first, refused to walk for a little while, but she got used to it and now doesn't mind it at all. It's easy to put on. All of the Velcro adjustments are fantastic. When we first started using it, it actually seemed to make they hygroma worse. Even though the inside of it is soft, I think just having something rubbing on the area irritated it worse when it was raw. We adjusted the Velcro on the legs so it was tight but not too tight, and it still irritated. However, once the hygroma developed a thick scab, we found this to be of great help. There's no way she can get out of it (and huskies are Houdinis) and there's no way she can lick her elbow. We put it on her every night so we can rest assured she cannot lick it and every time she flops down on the floor there's some cushion and protection.I hand wash this in the sink, it washes fine. I lay it on a towel to dry. It's holding up quite well, which I would expect from the price tag it has. It's a great product, but you just need to evaluate what you're using it for and if it may worsen things depending on the status. Her elbow is so much better now, but hygromas often never fully go away, and using this every night keeps it from getting worse.

Definitely helps
My 11 yr old bully has an elbow that slips in and out if socket. She has been so much better with the brace on . It really does help her with keeping it in place . She has more support and definitely gets around alot better than before . Highly recommended.

Excellent Product - Protects my dogs elbows
This item works great and keeps my dog from licking his elbows raw. It does not seem to bother him at all - he keeps it on and does not try to remove it. His elbows have healed nicely. It has good padding at the elbows for when he is lying on the tile flooring. He refuses to lay on throw rugs or be in a dog bed.

Will not work for short legged dogs
Did not work for my bulldog. If your dog has short legs, it will not work. Don't waste your time or money. Difficult to put on the dog and did not like it.

Very good for Golden Retriever hygromas
We can't get our 100 lb Golden to lay on her bed because the hardwood floor is cooler. She started getting hygromas and then would like them raw on both elbows. The vet recommended we try a sleeve and we tried a different type that was for a single leg. We put it on the worse one but of course the other side became the worse one. I decided I was spending much more than the cost of this dual NeoAlly sleeve on vet bills so I go this one. After a couple weeks her hygroma is 98% gone. She actually seems happy in this sleeve even though she doesn't want me to put it on her. I didn't plan on leaving it on her for long periods but the first week I left it off for a day and she started liking her elbow raw again. We will see how it holds up over a longer time and several more hand washes, but even if it starts tearing tomorrow I feel I got the value out of it. I think it is well made and a much better design than the other model I tried.Someone here recommended the Large for a 100 lb Golden and I thank them because that fits perfectly.

Slippage
I was hoping that this harness would hold the elbow bandages in place but the bandages still slip down the legs regardless of the harness. However, it does seem to provide some cushioning and support. Also provides a lot of laughs as the dog gets use to wearing it!
